We have frequently travelled to Molyvos in Lesvos and love the Greek community and tavernas there. The hotel is a nearby location with swimming pools. Walking to Molyvos is doable, hotel provides a shuttle and taxis are reasonably cheap.

You really really need a car because cabs are v expensive and there are no buses I was only there a week and I loved the swimming eating etc. Also loved the coice of bars etc

We went in Spring for the birdwatching. Can’t be many better places in the world if you’re a birdwatcher and the island is small enough to get just about anywhere in a reasonable time. Some of the roads are pretty rough especially the road to Sigri.
