"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"This cottage has everything you need. It feels like a home from home. Also fully equipped. The views are stunning from every corner. The garden is huge and super nice. "I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high standard and I enjoyed all selections that I ate. I also provided constructive feedback when I felt one particular dish would have been better served on a plate instead of a wooden platter. A minor detail when considered amongst the warmth extended to residents and non residents alike. I am sure that I will return to The Salwey Arms next year, if still under the same management Team. Thank you for everything. "
