As advertised, clean, comfortable and complete. The house was in a very convenient part of town, and made for a very nice family getaway. We would definitely return.
Perfect place! Great location and walking distance to restaurants and waterfront. Plenty of room for 4 couples on a weekend trip for us. Huge backyard with seating and a deck. Bedrooms and common areas were bigger than expected and the kitchen was spacious and upgraded. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Quiet Lewes
The house is a beautiful old but well maintained home in Lewes downtown. Perfect for walking with access to many local restaurants in downtown. We drove to Cape Holopen Beach everyday. The best
Three couples stayed at the house where it rained all weekend: the house was perfect. It is so close to restaurants and shopping that we just walked there despite the rain. Very quiet neighborhood. House had everything we needed, and lots of space for the six of us. In the future this will be our go-to location to rent in Lewes.
Loved the location and house. Very cool old home, but clean and comfortable. The internet was not good, and unfortunately my husband had to do some work at the Lewes library. Other than that, great rental.
Loved our stay at this property - the house was very spacious and well-kept. The area the house is located in is a short walk to downtown Lewes and a ~20 minute walk to the beach. The town and the house were wonderful! Our only complaint was that the sheets weren't put on any beds before arriving, so we all had to make our beds at the end of the night because the duvet covers were over the beds and it wasn't apparent that the beds weren't made when we arrived. Definitely is one of those places that asks you to do a somewhat substantial list of chores for check out and also charges you a cleaning fee as well as a linen fee, so not having the sheets on the bed and also being asked to strip the bed at the end felt a bit ridiculous.
Very small complaint in the grand scheme of things - the town and property are seriously great - but feel like I have to mention that because paying that much to not have sheets on your bed isn't amazing and is an easy change for Jack Lingo to make so it isn't an issue for future guests!
Also want to give a shout-out to whoever does their landscaping; both the backyard and the front area were gorgeously done.
We enjoyed our stay in Lewes. Location to shops & restaurants was great for walking. We loved sitting on the deck chatting and admiring the beautiful garden.
We stayed at this beach home for a weekend with 3 families. We loved the location and the amenities. Lewes is perhaps the cutest beach town in America.
We had a lovely stay in this very clean property located in a quiet neighborhood! The location was perfect, a very short walk to the downtown shops and most importantly, a straight shot to King’s Ice Cream Access to the Georgetown trail is also not far. While we felt the kitchen could have been stocked a bit more fully and there were some very minor maintenance issues, the size held our party of 10 well and it was great to have the option of sitting outside on the porch for dinners, etc. We would go back!
Upstairs suite is updated and amazing! Rental agent brought us more towels when requested. Love the outside space. Great to be able to walk to town quickly. Parking was surprisingly easy.
Check-in and check-out were a breeze - the folks at Jack Lingo were friendly and helpful. The pictures capture the feel of the house. The house/kitchen is nicely appointed. The air conditioning worked very well, a separate unit for the 3rd floor primary bed and bath kept everything and everyone comfortable. A very short walk to ice cream, bars, restaurants. Great backyard with two tables. Parking on street was very good, also used the space in the back. Only bug was the wi-fi was spotty and is shared with the other half of the house and the router was on the other side so we couldn't reset. Also, cable tv was iffy but wasn't a priority for us.
This house was great! Location was in walking distance of all the shops, coffee shops and restaurants. We did however have 2 elderly people and I’d say this might not be ideal for those who have trouble navigating steps. They stayed on the first floor where the couch has a pullout sofa. Not the most comfortable but a nice option instead of taking the steps and it did have a bathroom adjacent. The kitchen was well appointed. The furnishings were all very nice and the outside area was also a plus. I would definitely rent this house again and I look forward to another visit to Lewes.
Walking distance to everything in Lewes, short drive to Cape Henlopen and Rehoboth. A great house for family with a huge bedroom with K bed and bath on top floor, three nice BR's and bath on 2nd, another full bath and sofa bed on first and outdoor shower. We didn't eat in except for breakfast but the kitchen was very well equipped. Only nit is that they don't seem to wash the comforters between guests. Linen service for towels and sheets, all nice and fresh. Its a duplex but we rarely heard the next door neighbors. Once a medivac helicopter came into the hospital but otherwise the neighborhood was very peaceful. Lots of street parking. Highly recommend!
This house was in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops, and a longer walk to the beach. Very short car ride to the ferry station and the beautiful state park, and easy to hit the main roads for things further away. A huge 3rd floor upstairs suite with two good sized bedrooms on the second floor plus a smaller room there too. Lovely back deck and yard. Stairs are very narrow and steep as is typical for an older home, but otherwise it was a terrific property.
