Hello Sandi, We are very discouraged in reading your less than stellar review. I do have to say that your review does contain items that are 100% true and we will petition VRBO for removal of your statements. Our condos are part of a condo association and is inspected monthly by the Fire Marshall. There is nothing unstable about our buildings or balconies. Nor have we ever been cited for any issues on our property in the 5 years we have had rentals. Also, there are no businesses boarded up in our neighborhood or anywhere close to it. Businesses are opening left and right and are thriving with 3 new business, Jimmy Johns, OMG donuts and ChickFila recently joining our area. I am perplexed at your statements, truly. Our units are exactly as described and as photographed. I do believe that VRBO asked you for photo documentation which you could not provide them of your statements. I do wish that had you been unhappy upon your arrival that you would have given us a call to discuss your concerns. Having dissatisfied guests is never our intention, we work very hard to provide a safe, clean and inviting space. We have had over 5000 guests to date and hold high ratings across multiple platforms. Hello Teresa! We have been working very hard to renovate this entire complex. All of the buildings have been painted, had new vinyl siding, new gutters and new roofs all installed. New stairwells in the breezeways too! All new landscaping, which is the cat urine smell, boxwood bushes are notorious for that smell after a rain or morning dew. Usually the smell wears off by noon giving these bushes a very pretty green waxy leaf that is hardy for our area. As stated in our listing, the area is a transitional area, at times there will be foot traffic as we are near grocery shopping, restaurants, bus stops, gym and doctor offices. Our complex is usually always peaceful and quiet. We feel $50 per night is a fair price for your rental. Our rentals do stay pretty booked and we are finding that we do have to replace our furniture frequently. We do buy top end as to get the most life out of each piece, usually replacing them about every 6 months. I do wish in a perfect world that guests treated the finishings better as to not have reviews that state that some pieces could have been higher from the ground and such. I do hope overall that you enjoyed your time in Frankfort and we welcome you back to the city, even if our unit felt subpar to you. Take Care, Kelley and Robbie

Hello Robin. Our neighborhood is in transition as stated in the listing but we feel that it is far from “ghetto”. There is foot traffic as there is a bus stop nearby, as well as grocery store and restaurants.
