We arrived after a long day driving from Tampa and we were greeted by a friendly fron desk staff. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a delicious, fresh breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately, when we were leaving, we discovered a flat tire. The front desk clerk and breakfast staff were quick to try to find an available mechanic. They went over and above trying to help us and we are thankful to have met them. We have decided to always choose Holiday Inn Express as our first choice when traveling!

From check-in to check-out, the experience was flawless. The hotel, public areas and room were extremely clean. The staff was friendly and well-trained. Overall, a great stay. The location was 15 mins from downtown...very convenient Next time my husband and I are in Lexington, we will definitely stay here.

Besides a rather obvious lack of interesting decor (there was not a single picture or wall hanging in our room, and only one nice large one in the common area) the facility was clean and verrry serviceable. Mostly quiet except that we were on main floor and right by the parking and occasionally heard road noise.

We did not search for this property. After searching for a hotel in Nebraska- the property and date changed without me realizing to KY. I will never use Expedia again. I realized the issue in less than 5 minutes and it was not refunded. The hotel host at the hotel we booked in the right city said this happens all the time. Not ok! You may not accept my review, but word of mouth will be my choice. I cannot believe that Expedia doesn’t understand this is an issue. I looked at a map of the hotel near 1-80 before choosing the area. I have no clue how I ended up in Ky. I’m really disappointed in the service I received. I will never use Expedia again. I do not believe the hotel chain is responsible. This appears to be a website issue.

This hotel did not even try to accomodate my special request for any room close to elevator, on any floor because of severe heart and breathing issues. So they gave me the last room on a floor, farthest from elevator. Each time I walked to room hard breathing and palpitations. Everything else was excellent but, that walk to my room , was disappointing. So won't stay here again. Area was good, lots of resturaunts as well.

The Staff were super helpful, from the Front Desk to the Breakfast Prep, everyone was great. Facility was clean and nice with the exception of the 'garish' Hallway Carpet! Major annoyance with the lack of an outside Patio or Social Area for friends to gather and visit. The Pool is indoors which eliminates that as an option. Highly suggest that problem be remedied.

Room was clean and nice. Only complaint was fire alarm went off several times starting at 5:30am. Then 3 or more times about 2hrs apart. No fire just alarm. Never got an answer why it happened or even an any compensation offer.
