Wonderful weekend
Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Additional benefit was that each bedroom had its own full bath. Easy walking distance to downtown and within 100-200 yards of a wonderful brewery/distillery.

Great Location
We stayed for a week. It’s close to the downtown area but off the road enough to be quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to Rupp Arena, Lexington Brewery / Distillery and restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here.

Spent a few days here with a friend. Liked that each bedroom had a private attached full bath. Close to downtown Lexington, was able to walk to downtown area within 10 minutes

Bourbon Trail Weekend
Property is located near several distilleries. Very convienient for the tours. Rupp Arena was within walking distance so this would be a good option during Wildcat basketball. Clean and spacious. Check in and check out was very easy. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Place
Our group of 6 stayed at this property while we were in town for a bourbon tour, concert, and general checking-out a new area. We had an absolute blast. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, perfect walking distance to a couple places we went and a very easy Uber to the rest. Communication with Ben was excellent. The only recommendation I have would be some sort of dresser, even a small one, in the bedroom at the top of the stairs. I didn't pay attention if the other bedroom had one or not, but my husband and I tried to live out of our suitcase for the weekend and that became very disorganized very quickly. It wouldn't stop us from staying here again, just would be a nice addition. 10/10!

Breeders Cup @ Keeneland
The condo was perfect for a weekend at the races. It has been a family tradition to take my father to the Breeder's Cup and this year was no different. The condo was perfect for sleeping 4 adults and 2.5 year old. Good sized living room, kitchen and bedrooms. 15-20 minute walk to all of the prime restaurants and only a 15 minute uber ride to Keeneland. We would stay here again.

Great location
Walkable to downtown/ Rupp arena, felt safe, plenty of room, good price, soft sheets and comfortable bed. For those who like fancier places, this may not be for you, but a solid place to stay. (As my husband said, it’s a little “tired” in places and has very squeaky floors upstairs). We would definitely stay here again! For the price, so much better than a hotel and you can’t beat the location.

Convenient and Comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at Ben’s Woodward Heights townhome. The property is tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. The kitchen is well-stocked. The convenient location is in a nice residential neighborhood with off-street parking. Light sleepers and families with small children may be disturbed by the occasional fire and ambulance sirens (the station is just one block away). However, it was infrequent and we were not terribly bothered by it. We would stay here again.

Overall, the stay was fine. A few suggesions....need more silverware and coffee cups. Had to wash utensils all the time. We only had 4 of us in our group but definitely not adequately equipped. The faux leather recliner needs to be replaced as it is peeling and worn. The back patio is a mess and needs a complete cleanup. Ben was great to work with, however.

Great Location For The Price
This rental was perfect for our family visiting our daughter who is a PA student at UK. The location is the best and the price even better. We thought we left an item and they were quick with a response and went out of their way to look for it. I hope it’s available the next time we visit.

Great for all our needs!
We came in town for a music festival, location was great! Condo was perfect and fit all our needs. Cook breakfast every morning and was able to walk to the shuttle pick ups. Uber took us most other places and since the location was good it was cheap and easy. Next time we come to Lexington we will definitely book here again!

Disappointment from listing.. No hot water in kitchen, no linens in kitchen, one sheet on bed and NO pillowcases, eating utensils very lacking, only 3 large glasses, no flooring under the sink with a leak, recliner in living room the seat was peeling leather, sofa had NO springs, doors on laundry broken, no chest in one bedroom, toaster and coffee pot were VERY old. etc

Run from this property! Filthy, full of cobwebs and most uncomfortable beds ever! Furniture is ripped up and pictures are old and have not been updated. If you you choose to stay here be sure to bring your own Clorox bleach wipes because nothing has been cleaned or wiped down in years.

Attentive host, great location, needs TLC
The check in process was easy and Ben is an attentive host. The location is great. We did encounter some issues. There was no hot water in any sink. The kitchen sink had a broken waste pipe and it was obvious that it had been that way for a while. We contacted Ben about these issues near the end of our stay because we didn’t want our vacation disrupted by plumbers working. There were holes in the bathroom wall, blinds are broken and the kitchen trash can is way too small. The rooms are very dusty. We went with our brother and sister in law and I was embarrassed about the conditions. This would be the perfect rental once these issues are addressed, and Ben assured us this would be the case.

We had a good stay. Place had everything we needed. I liked walking around the neighborhood looking at the unique homes. We went to The Ark Encounter and The Natural Bridge and this place was perfectly in the middle.

Great location!
My husband, MIL, ten year old daughter and I rented the property for our first trip to The Ark. It was a great location for a day trip to The Ark and also some very neat places to eat and see in Lexington. We enjoyed ourselves and the house. We loved walking the neighborhood and seeing all the historic homes. Only issue we had was from the neighbor-they had people over and were outside into the wee hours of the morning talking loud with some very profane language. It was only one night and didn’t have an issue the rest of our stay.

Lexington Townhouse
We stayed in this townhouse with another couple and found it to be very comfortable and in an excellent location. We were able to tour distilleries and horse ranches with ease. We were even able to get to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter with very little trouble. We would stay there again. We were able to talk to the owner, and he was very responsive. A wonderful stay.

1st time renting on VRBO
The townhouse worked perfectly for our needs. There was a group of us who came down to catch a UK football game. 3 hotel rooms would have cost us $600.00. The townhouse was as advertised and we’ll equipped for our needs. We come down for 4-5 games a year and I’ll never stay in a hotel again.

Great location. Great 2 br apt/condo
This is very centrally located for downtown, Rupp, eateries, and just a few blocks from Joe B's (the best pizza place around). This is an older, but very well kept unit. This is in a great neighborhood. We walked downtown several times, and took some side excursions to look at some of the older houses and architecture. Everything in the apt worked and it was very clean. The area: Pleasant. Save. Well lit. Friendly neighbors. Some other units are rentals, some are owners. The bedrooms are upstairs, which was not a problem for us. What was nice is that each bedroom had it's own bathroom, and there was a half bath downstairs. A/C worked great. Water pressure is great for taking shower. If i had to find a negative or a criticism, it would be twofold: 1) there is a very nice outside seating area and back yard, with patio furniture. It would be great just to sit outside in the mornings for coffee, or in the evening for an adult beverage and conversation. This are was not yet opened/cleaned. 2) i would love to have had a tv in the bedroom. Neither of these issues would stop me from coming back. tv's were not advertised to be in the bedrooms and we knew that before renting. Nor was it published that there was an outside seating area and back yard. Again, this would just be suggestions for the future, and had no impact on our stay. We loved it, and when we come back we will try to rent this unit again. This is an "end" unit and parking was easy, reserved. We could not hear the neighbors, very quiet area.

We were visiting the city for the weekend and this town home was much less expensive than a hotel and a lot more comfortable. The home was well decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. We had an issue with the air conditioning, but Ben took care of it immediately. He was a great host. Would stay again.

Very clean and as presented in pictures. Within walking distance to Rupp Arena which is the main reason we were in the area! Walking distance to great restaurants and close to the Kentucky Horse Park, another attraction we enjoyed. Ben was a great host and we would stay here again! Highly recommend!
