Lexington Beach house, On the water with private beach
10/10 Excellent
"Loved our stay here. The neighborhood is quiet, but still very close to downtown Lexington and not a far drive to Port Huron. The view of the lake was gorgeous. The house is spacious and we had plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!"
The Cadillac House Lexington, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Very nicely updated and they did a wonderful job preserving the authentic interior. The bar has a terrific selection and the restaurant menu had something for everyone. It's not a quiet location but that's kind of obvious being at the very center of town. I can imagine during the summer months there would be quite a bit more street noise but the later it got, the quieter it became. I was in room #8 so the kitchen exhaust was below my window (which I did not open) and that put out a bit of an unpleasant smell in my room from time to time. Next time I stay I will request a different room location but I really liked the hotel and all it's charm and would definitely stay here again!"
Lovely 4-bedroom house in Lexington with AC and WiFi
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved this house!! It was cute, clean, and plenty of room for our mother’s day weekend away!! View of Lake Huron was amazing and to see 3 bald eagles and blue bird’s galore to name a few was magnificent!! Great price for an easy getaway!!! Thank you "
"The property is nice and the staff is excellent. The only complaint I have is that Expedia says there is a full size refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. However there is only a half size refrigerator and no microwave. The staff at the hotel has told Expedia on numerous occasions, but they won’t change it in the description. Also, I was there Sunday through Wednesday and many things are only open Wednesday through Sunday, so I can’t speak on some of the onsite amenities."
"smooth check in... a few minor bumps BUT they were taken care of ASAP. Little cold on golf cart, might be a lot nicer in warm weather to drive around in. Hot tub needed filling (not a big issue) Will definitely try to come back when warmer."
Charming retreat on 20 acres nestled in the woods 1 mile from Lexington
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay. Very clean, everything in the kitchen you need Explored the 20 acres. Close to Lexington, like a mile and half and of course Lake Huron. Very quite. Too cold and snowy to have a fire. Only thing is no curtains, just the bedroom and bath had blinds. Need curtains Other then that, we’ll be back. "
"The host is great at communicating from 30 days out, 2 weeks out, the week of, the day before, the day of, after you check in, before you leave, and after you leave and anything else you may need. Very helpful and easy directions. House had all of the expected items: pots, pans, drip coffee maker, large fridge, microwave, gas stove, oven, toaster, glasses/plates, sheets, towels, comforters.Lits of unexpected touches: slide on shoes, robes, towels for the hot tub, texts about local events, nice welcome book with recommendations, toys, games, smart TV, gaming console (old Nintendo and something else my 11 yr old loved), lots of baby items (crib, high chair, step stool/ potty), extra sunscreen, lots of extra blank, and a warm electric fireplace. We used every bed (all 7), no complaints. Beds were soft and enjoyable.Suggestions/notes: shower curtain needs to be cleaned/changed. Shower did not get hot water (but it was 20 out and that may have effected the temperature). House looks like the pictures, water is 1 house away, but beautiful water views. Lake Huron was spectacular, even in December.Lexington had a cute tree lighting ceremony and Santa came in on a firetruck (very small town/Hallmark movie feeling) and the little shops were open late. We heard next weekend is a horse carriage festival. We saw ice fishing in the harbor. Fun all year round, not just sun/fun.We will be booking with this host again."
