"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"Amazing breakfast and great staff in a beautiful small town. Great overall value but having stayed more than once I’d recommend the room upgrade. Other pubs walkable from the Dragon if you choose including one that shows sports just up the road. Food, drink and the setting at the Dragon are wonderfully welcoming and comfortable on a cold night and of course, there’s a beer garden for the summer. "

"The hot tub was an excellent addition to the stay. After trekking Brecon every day we got in every evening. Rooms were good size and we had enough space for all - 5 adults and 2 kids. "Check in was easy and in the main bar. The property itself offers basic but more than adequate facilities. It is an old pub which we found gave the place an old world charm that we really liked. However, If you want immaculate decoration and newly fitted bathroom this isn’t the stay for you. The rooms are priced relative to the decor and facilities and represent great value for money. Breakfast was lovely with cereal, juice, toast on self serve and a full breakfast cooked to order. A vegetarian full breakfast swapped the bacon and pork sausage for grilled halloumi and veggie sausage. All delightful well cooked. We will be back to stay here again"
