This family log home is spacious, beautiful, and immaculate, set in a scenic rural location at the base of the Cabinet mountains. We totally enjoyed the comfort and warmth of this family home.
Exquisite craftsmanship and remote beauty made for a quiet and most comfortable stay. Attention to detail with everything perfect and operational was second to none. Best VRBO stay ever. Would definitely like to do it again. Thank you!
Totally enjoyed our stay from the moment we entered our beautiful vacation home! Super clean and thoughtfully equipped - all the amenities you could ask for.
We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with two sinks, ice maker and enough plates to feed an army. Beds are comfy- living room great for visiting friends. The views from the deck are majestic !
Love Montana and this home just makes you want to return again and again.
Thanks Joas & Pricilla for all your hard work.
Joas and Priscilla's home is absolutely stunning. The view of the Cabinets is the cherry on top as was the grounds, including a huge garden that was so fun to walk through and admire. The tree house is not for the faint of heart, but definitely go up there to fully appreciate the extensiveness of the craftsmanship and attention to detail that permeates this whole property. We stayed there with my sister's young family and the kids loved the loft and the "secret room." The adults loved the well-appointed kitchen and that perfect-for-catching-up porch. I especially appreciated the comfortable beds and cozy, modern bedding. No detail was left untouched. We'll be staying here again on our next visit for sure. (Oh, and obviously check out the Amish store at the base of the drive... they have everything needed!)
We were a little unsure if we had the correct house when we arrived as it was getting dark and the house was dark except for the basement. We didn't realize that the owners lived on-site in the basement so were were surprised to see someone at the door. Joas was surprised as well as he didn't realize the house was booked (it was a weekday booking and we only messaged each other when the booking was made 6 weeks earlier). He was very apologetic and quick to rally. We brought our things in and headed to town for dinner while he made the place ready for us. I have to say, there were just a couple of things that needed to be tidied and cleaned. When we returned, the lights were on and welcoming and a lovely bottle of wine was waiting for us. The house is stunning and the views were too. We had plans during our quick stay but we all agreed that we need to come back another time to just hunker in the house and enjoy time there. They provided everything that you can think of needing while there. Joas and his wife are very nice and good people. It felt like we got to know them while we were there as we looked through photo books and at their Instagrams. What an adventure their lives have been! We will be following along on their next adventure. We are already checking our calendars to see when we can return to Libby specifically to stay in this house. If you can, make sure to build in a day to just enjoy the house and property without going anywhere. You won't be disappointed!
Beautiful home with everything you need! It was very spacious and homey. We were really able to relax and unwind there. You cannot beat the gorgeous mountain views and serenity of the forest.
We had an amazing time connecting with our family up on Turner Mountain and throughout the weekend. Our crew who stayed at this gorgeous log home, just had an incredible time. We hosted a big family dinner one night. Plenty of room to cook and visit. Just such a beautiful house and view looking out at the snowy mountains. Soaking in the bathtub with that view, was the best!

Property and home was amazing! Excellent communication with host. 10/10! 🤗
This cabin is too good to be true--but it's truly very good. If you appreciate Amish furniture, then imagine that Amish craftmanship applied to a whole cabin. Beyond fabulous. And all of this faces the beautiful Cabinet Mountains. You will not regret booking this; and if you can, consider yourself blessed.
As beautiful as the pictures are, they still do not show just how gorgeous Montana Haven is. The craftsmanship in the house is phenomenal. This is such a unique property and seeing the Montana Haven youtube channel before visiting adds a sense of familiarity. Joas and Priscilla have very gracious hosts. This was a perfect spot for my wife and I to celebrate our 35th anniversary
We loved our stay at Montana Haven. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property with great views of the mountains.
(Things my wife is interested in) The house is very clean and well taken care of. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for the whole family with a great outdoor deck with seating area to read or eat dinner. They have a Keurig for coffee in the morning. Washer and Dryer are great. They provide high quality products. They have thought of everything.
Things to do: Go to the Amish Farm to Market store. Great place for morning coffee or to shop for some grocery store items. Ross Creek Cedars (500 year old trees), Kootenai falls and Swing (between Libby and Troy), Libby Dam (tours are 2:00 and 4:00), Visit Yaak - Yaak Falls, West Fork Falls and nature trails. Libby - Plenty of dinner spots, farmer’s market (Thursday), and the heritage museum. These were most of the things we did but I’m sure there are plenty more like winter skiing at Turner Mountain.
