Turn onto Buck Runs 1/4 mile long driveway and arrive at a secluded setting.There you will sit among 120 private acres. Buck Run sleeps 10. Enjoy the newly completed Professional Pickleball Court. Once inside the highlight is the Great Room with large stone fireplace and vaulted ceiling. A full basement with outside entry has a bar, dart board and television with DVD player and WII system. High speed internet ,Internet basedTV (Youtube TV, Hulu ect.)in 3 rooms and DVD player on main level round out the electronic entertainment. At the top of the driveway you will find a building with our Ping Pong Room. Enjoy the Weber Genesis Gas grill with the first tank of gas on us. The Fire Pit is great place to relax and start the story tellin! There are 2 miles of winding trails for hiking, biking and XC skiing. We have 2 options for linens and towels. We provide linens and towels. Buck Run is a large property but we DO NOT allow the shooting of firearms of any kind. Also due to insurance reasons we DO NOT allow ATV's at Buck Run.
Our beautiful spring fed pond offers fishing and swimming and features a dock with benches and a wide step ladder. The front porch has a wonderful view of the pond and is the perfect place to watch the sunrise with your first cup of coffee.
Primary guests must be at least 30yrs old. We are a family property and do not allow Bachelor or Bachelorette parties.

The property is as described. The pickleball court is new and amazing and right at the back of the house. The property is well stocked with all needs. Completely quiet area. The bunk bed room is very small and off of the back porch by the back door with a barn style door. Overall, the owners are very helpful and friendly.Would absolutely recommend this place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Friends Winter Retreat

Another great winter weekend at Buck Run with friends. Weather was bad but all is well because we were nice and cozy inside the beautiful cabin with a warm fire, good food and best friends. Always good times at Buck Run.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Had a wonderful time hanging out at the house by the fireplace. Thoroughly enjoyed walking the trails with our two Labs. Visited Wellsboro for some delicious dinners at fantastic restaurants. This was our second trip here and we will be planning more.

Wonderful stay

We loved this cabin! We were so impressed with the mowed paths in the woods and the beautiful pond. There was so much to do on the property. We had lots of fun with 6 kids under the age of 7. You don’t need to leave this property all week!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We had a wonderful time at Buck Run. The property is gorgeous with plenty to do. We fished in the pond and our two Labs loved all the room to roam. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the trails on the property. The house was very clean with comfortable bedding and furniture. We will definitely make plans to return.

Fourth of July week vacation

We had a great holiday week at Buck Run!! Did a lot of fishing and swimming and hiking. Played Cornhole and ping pong and basketball a lot! Beautiful views!! Amazing property!

We Love this place

What a beautiful property, we spent too much time away from it hiking and biking and kayaking.... we want to come back to just stay on the property! So relaxing, loved the porches, want to have more days to stay put here next time. Thank you for making such a relaxing haven. Will definitely return.

Buck Run

We absolutely loved this home and the property! Several of us took advantage of the walking trails. The view from the deck was amazing looking over the pond. The property has every amenity you need along with a very spacious great room. We had 11 guests and we never felt cramped for space. We ever received a lovely welcome gift from the owners! Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the outdoors!

Beautiful property!

Property was well kept and very roomy. The maintained trails were exceptional! Wonderful pine forest with fresh pine smell. Only negative for me was the sound of traffic from Route 15 and 414.

Nature galore with all the comforts!

My family stayed for a long weekend and had a great time! There are many well maintained trials to explore in the woods and the pond makes a great place to relax! Our boys had so much fun playing ping pong and making campfires in the fire pit. And I’m sure our dog had the best time of his life!

An outdoorsman dream property

This was the family vacation of 6 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs favorite find yet. The dogs and I loved hiking on the well maintained trails. Everyone loved the pond - nice for paddling around in and teaching grandkids how to fish. Lots to do on the property and lots to see not far away. We enjoyed a paddle boat ride 30 minutes south of the house and of course we had to see the Grand Canyon while we were there.

Buck Run

Winter weekend retreat

This cabin is our "go to" every winter to relax and escape life. We gather around the fireplace to eat, drink and laugh with friends. Usually deer to watch from the window and the trail makes for a beautiful winter walk. Cabin has all the "bells and whistles" so cooking meals is easy. We love that it is secluded and yet easy access to highway. Can't wait to visit this summer.

Private, spacious, fun!

The house was clean and beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone, including our two dogs. The pond was wonderful. The fire pit was fun. The trails were great to walk with the dogs. The separate building with the ping pong table was a blast. I would highly recommend this house to anyone that loves the outdoors!

Wonderful anniversary celebration vacation

We were looking for something special to do for our 40th anniversary. We booked Buck Run for 10 days and couldn’t be happier. The house itself is amazing, with beautiful decor, modern bathrooms and kitchen, and lots of room and activities for 6 adults. The property has so much - the pond, fishing, nicely mowed trails to explore, and so much wildlife. The Little League Baseball World Series, the PA Grand Canyon, Wellsboro, and Cherry Springs State Park for stargazing were all within an hour’s drive. We want to come back during other seasons to experience all Buck Run has to offer.

Beautiful Property

We have stayed here several times in the winter but decided to take a weekend family retreat in the summer. It was beyond beautiful. We played cornhole in the yard and our 4 year old grandson was thrilled to catch his first fish. We ended the day of course roasting marshmallows around the firepit. The porches are great to sit and relax. It was a perfect weekend. All the comforts of home and easy to access.

Wessner Family Weekend

It was FANTASTIC! Your property is something out of a dream! We are a very outdoors family so it was just perfect for us. Did a 4.5 mile hike on Briar mountain, then came back to the house to relax, fish, cook and have an epic ping pong tournament. We laughed until we cried! We hope to be blessed to be able to come back!

Quiet, relaxing and private stay

Lovely place! Enjoyed the privacy including the woods and pond. Kitchen had everything we needed with up to date appliances. Enjoyed use of the grill on back porch. Nice to have 3 queen rooms. Appreciated that we could include our golden retriever. Location is convenient to Pine river access for kayaking, the Pine Creek rail trail, National Park and close to Wellsboro. Up to date appliances and grill. Owners, Ray & Melanie were wonderful to communicate with. We would love to stay again sometime.

Relax or explore...

Wonderful property with plenty of space inside and out! Close to PA Grand Canyon and the quaint town of Wellsboro, but could easily enjoy the time away without leaving the property. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the various wooded trails and watching wildlife from the front porch, including deer walking around the pond area. Our family enjoyed ping pong and cornhole, the boat/dock on the pond, playing games and Wii, and watching the full moon rise while sitting around the firepit. The AC kept us comfortable during the heatwave and the updated kitchen and downstairs bath were very nice. There was no hot tub, as listed, but that was a very minor disappointment. Hosts were very responsive to messages and have a very well-maintained property. Highly recommend!

We Loved This Vacation!

We had a great time and enjoyed this stay very much. The house was comfortable and well equipped. We fished in the pond. We hiked the trails. We cooked out on the grill. We played games. This was a family reunion vacation for our three sisters. We had a total of 7 adults and 2 small dogs. The house was the perfect size for what we needed. The kitchen is great with a modern stove, large fridge and even a wine cooler. We had no problems cooking whatever we had to make. While here we traveled to Corning to visit the glass museum. We went to Watkins Glen to hike the falls. We went on a covered wagon tour of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. We went into Wellsboro to see a movie. We had lots of time to relax and play. And we survived Hurricane Debby, which had been reduced to a tropical storm, but poured inches of rain on us. I would highly recommend this great vacation home. Thank you for allowing us to stay here.
