"Location is outside the city center where the sites are so you’ll need to Uber there. I paid around $15-20 each way. The breakfast buffet is average. There’s a food court next door that has odd hours but did have good food. There’s also a Carrefour next door which had everything. Overall, it met our needs and I would stay there again."

Pros: • Stunning, eel maintained property with courteous staff and excellent service. • Beautiful rooms—the balcony had incredible vineyard views. • World-class spa treatments (some of the best I've ever had!). • Great location near Saint-Émilion with e-bike rentals and a hotel shuttle. • Easy day trips to Bordeaux (45–60 mins away) via hotel-arranged transport. • Gourmet dining on-site. Cons: • Room service options are a bit limited. Tip: Book your restaurant and terrace tables well in advance, especially for weekends. Overall, a wonderful stay!"

"Très beau séjour d'une nuit à l'hôtel BG de Bordeaux. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. La décoration est superbe, l'ambiance est très cozy. On s'y sent comme chez soi. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent avec du choix pour tous les goûts. Si vous cherchez un endroit agréable à Bordeaux, je vous le recommande fortement. L'hôtel est situé directement face à une station de tramway et à environ 5 minutes de marche de la gare Saint-Jean. Les chambres sont petites, donc si vous avez besoin d'espace, ce n'est probablement pas le meilleur choix. Par contre, si vous cherchez un endroit avec une belle ambiance, du personnel plus que sympathique, de la propreté, bien situé, et que la dimension de la chambre ne vous importe pas, c'est un excellent choix ! Mention spéciale à la gentille Béatrice à la réception 👌❤️. J'y retournerai lors d'un futur séjour à Bordeaux, assurément !"

"We spent three lovely nights at this adorable and perfectly located hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. La Tour Intendance is exactly the type of place we enjoy staying when visiting cities in France and Europe in general. It is quaint with historic features and feels very much part of the historic part of Bordeaux. Its location is a short walk from the nearest Tram line (to the airport or other parts of the city), and to explore the city on foot. The street itself, while only a few moments walk from busier roads and the old town, is a beautiful curved primarily pedestrian street. This was especially enjoyable while sitting at their outside tables with a coffee or a bottle of wine. The staff are absolutely lovely. I made an enquiry before even booking and received a timely and helpful response regarding the possibility/process for a late check in. In person everyone we interacted with were a delight. We will stay here again without question the next time we visit Bordeaux."
