"Another extremely enjoyable stay at The Royal. Staff are awesome, rooms very clean, and everything you need within a short walking distance. Meals are A Grade as well. Had the Smokey BBQ lamb shank this time, literally just fell off the bone with the lightest touch. May I recommend the local lager as a refreshing ale. Absolutely the best craft/boutique beer I've ever had, and I've had a few. Always a delight to call this my home away from home when I visit the Wimmera. 👍"

"Was fair quality but upstairs was not preferred. A motor outside the room kept cutting in and out all night. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable but why do hotels insist on putting a doona on the bed in warm climates.
