Great Place to Stay

We loved our stay, the room was clean and well stocked with towels, beach chair, umbrella, cooler and beach towels. Loved the two chairs on the lanai, had our breakfast out there every morning. Easy walk to the beach, nice pool and hot tubs. Recommend staying here and we will stay here again when we come back!

A+ Such a beautiful place

This room is beautiful and convenient to the pool and beach. Contact with owner was fabulous made sure we had everything needed. I would definitely recommend this rental and would rent again if I go back

Lovely Mom-Daughter Stay

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in the beautifully remodeled unit at the Kauai Beach Resort. The unit has all the amenities you need, gorgeous flooring, very comfortable bed, and also includes beach supplies. We enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the pool area and it also had a lovely partial view of the ocean! I highly recommend you do the yoga class in the morning, it was a great day to start off the day!

Lovely condo

The room was nice with a view of the pool and a balcony. Central location for driving to main tourist attractions on the island. A microwave for the room would be a nice addition. There is a microwave available in another building at the resort about a 10 min round trip walk.

Great Stay

We stayed at the resort for a week. Grounds were very clean and well kept. Didn't stay in the room much - hey your in Kauai in January from the Midwest. You wan to be in the warmth. Pool water was a little cold but hot tubs made up for it. Great central location for either going to the North shore or West shore. Restore held our luggage for us until our late flight.

Great stay, great room, but...

The room was great and the listing was very accurate. Very convenient location to a lot of stuff. Would stay here again. One ought to know that unless you plan on staying 100% time at the resort, you will need a car and parking there is 35/day charged by the resort. This was more expensive than the car rental itself! (We got a sweet deal) Wish this was disclosed more obviously in the listing.

Beautiful!

We really enjoyed this rental. The resort amenities such as restaurants, pools, and jacuzzis were excellent. The room's location is great, right next to the pool where you can hear the waterfalls as you sleep. It also provides a gorgeous sunrise view over the ocean. The resort location is also convenient, about 6 minutes from the airport, and about mid-way between Princeville and Waimea Canyon, with Poipu only about 30 minutes away. While the beach in front of the resort is not swimmable, Lydgate Beach is only a few minutes away and provides a place to swim. There are many restaurants within a 15 minute drive. We will return!

Perfect spot, sweet pool and partial ocean views!

This room was exactly as described and more! Super clean, and very comfortable. It’s at the end of the hall, so a nice distance away from elevator and ice machine noises, and close to stairwell that pops right out near the jacuzzi and pool area, and a short walk to the sand. The host has gone above and beyond to provide all of the essentials including beach towels, chairs, a small cooler and an umbrella, plus pool towels. The room has a mini fridge, keurig machine, glassware and utensils. The Outrigger also offered lovely grounds, spa, gift shop (with mini Starbucks), restaurant, lounge and bar. Close to the airport and a perfect location for heading to all of the gem locations on this beautiful island. I’d be lucky to stay here again. Many Mahalos!!

Fantastic Resort, Room and Location

My wife and I absolutely loved the resort that this VRBO is a part of. We felt just like a guest at the resort. Amazing pools, modern classy interior with open air lobby. Great location only being less than 10 min from the airport and equidistant from north and west side of the island in Lihue. The room was perfect and had a fantastic view of the pool. Felt like you were right there. Great bar and food (although slightly overpriced, but most resorts are). We had a wonderful time and were close to several cities. Only small critique I would give is the beach wasn’t the best to go in the water or walk on, however, there’s a great beach less than a half mile away (as well as amazing beaches all over the island). Would go back in a heartbeat and had us interested in buying one of our own. Thank you Rick!

The room was great, it was clean and comfortable - and perfectly located at the resort overlooking the pool. There were beach chairs and a cooler in the unit for us to use - which was appreciated! There were beach towels, pool towels, and everything we needed in the room. I would absolutely stay there again!

Perfection!

We loved, loved, loved our stay here! The resort was amazing and the room was great! The bed was so comfortable, and we loved hanging out on the lanai with the gorgeous view. Great accommodations with resort amenities!

All of the communication with Rick was timely and helpful. He was VERY quick to respond when we were having issues with the VRBO app and downloading check in instructions. The unit is in a great location, overlooking the pool area and with a distant view of the ocean. Highly recommend if you are looking for a resort style stay with on-site amenities!

Great place for a great price!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property and would keep in it mind for a future visit. Great centralized location on the Island, great amenities, good communication from the property owner and a beautiful view from the room. The only issue that was a little off putting was a mildew like smell in the room and an odd sound from the mini fridge that went on all throughout the night. We bought some air fresheners and that helped a bit but something in the room definitely needs to be changed out as the smell was pretty strong :( Overall, it was a good chouce and we were happy with out stay here!

Nice resort!

The resort is beautiful and the pools and jacuzzi were very enjoyable- the room was fine but there are a few things that were a bummer. The shutters to the patio squeal so horribly loud-the rail outside was very dirty from past guests(hair and oil and food) - the pillows were so big you couldn’t sleep with them just use them to lean on- there were no plastic cups (only glass) to use to bring water down to the pool area- you pay for parking but the secure lot was never secured -the coffee creamers were rotten- Over all the stay was fine but I’d say the owners need to actually come to the room and make sure things are working for the guest. It appears the hotel cleans the room after your stay. So for the cost I should have booked with the hotel not the VRBO.

Fabulous location; in the middle of everything. Very comfortable bed, which is crucial to us. Very clean and resort was great. The pool is stunning. Beach is mediocre, but with as much as there is to do in Kauai; we didn’t need the beach. I definitely recommend renting an all terrain vehicle if you plan to do anything off the resort. Not an absolute necessity, but very helpful for some steep roads. We used Marc through Turo and had a great experience there too. Overall; one of the best trips of our lives and the resort made it very comfortable. The on-site dinner location (Shutters) always had available tables if we didn’t eat off resort for that night and the food was good and well priced.

Great Location

The listing on the site shows the property exactly as it is. It is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed 2 nights but with so many things to do we were only able to enjoy a 1/2 day at the pool, but it is lovely. Shutters Lounge was a nice spot to sit back in the evenings and enjoy the resort environment. A car is a must at this property if you want to enjoy the beauty of Kauai. Once I had booked the property Rick answered any and all of my questions. He also provided a lot of essential, good to know information and some great suggestions. Thanks, Rick, for helping our stay in Kauai be an enjoyable one.
