"Upon checking, the check-in the staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean. The room was roomy and comfortable. The complimentary shower gel was completely out and conditioner was just about empty. No safe in room. Breakfast was meager to say the least. Didn’t offer much at all and not very appetizing. Could use improvement. Staff working breakfast area not friendly at all. Overall a good stay…could use improvement."

"The front desk clerk that checked us in around 3 pm was extraordinarily helpful and kind. She did make sure to advise us that there is no front desk staff after 9 pm and made sure that we understood how to contact someone in case of any issue. That was red flag number 1. We left and returned around 8:30 pm with dinner, and there were multiple vagrants around entrance that did try to engage myself (38/f) and my daughter (7). The front desk was already closed. That night we went to shower and get ready for bed when we realized that the towels in my room looked like they were dirty/stained with grease and old lipstick, though folded/placed nicely. We luckily had towels of our own to use. There are ZERO amenities - no shampoo/body wash. One tiny bar of hand soap only. When we tried to go to sleep, all I can say is those walls are ridiculously thin. We heard EVERYTHING in the hallway (which smelled heavily of marijuana). Additionally, the hotel is very close to an airport, so airport and train noises throughout the night. Not much sleep was had, and the icing on the cake was a domestic violence incident on our floor with police response... which I was alerted by another hotel the next day is a common occurrence here. Overall felt very unsafe. I had two day accommodations and I left after 10 hours. I didn't even bother with a refund... it was not worth it. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for.""

"Breakfast was good, the attendant was so efficient, couldn’t believe one person prepared it by herself. Staff at front desk greeted you professionally and was so accommodating. Room was clean and bed was so comfortable. The only negative was the Airport shuttle, which needed to be cleaned and vacuum inside and out. The manager gave 5 diamond service to and from the airport. "

"The only thing positive I can say was at least the sheets were clean. There were no housekeeping services. Electrical switches and outlets were mismatched or missing. The small pool looked toxic, and there were trash and cigarette butts in all outside areas. The parking lot was not secure. The interior of the hotel, particularly the gathering space on the second floor contained old and very dirty furniture. The hotel is on a loud and busy street. There was no assistance with baggage , basically no amenities. I cannot recommend that anyone stay at this hotel. "

"A van blocked the front entrance when I arrived. I mentioned it to the front desk person who responded, "I. know." That was exemplary of every interaction I had with her. There was an employee smoking at the entrance every time I went in and out. Nice cloud to walk through and the van was there when I left to have dinner much later. Breakfast was sparse. The coffee was good. Although signage indicated ice on my floor there was none. No coffee in the room. Door was sketchy. Obviously an older remodeled property that still needs work."

"I always enjoy my stay at the DoubleTree. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The bar is great and breakfast is delicious. The hotel is in a great location as there are shopping centers and restaurants nearby. Of course, the cookies are the absolute best! Moe, specifically, always has my back, LOL, as I always manage to forget my toothbrush or toothpaste or some other item and he always comes through with the goods! This hotel is for the grown and sexy and it also has a great family and business vibe as well. "
