Pick berries and mushrooms in the surrounding woods and take a romantic boat trip across the clear lake. Explore nearby Lilla Edet with its good shopping facilities and restaurants and visit the historic locks. Learn more about the history of the region at the exciting Lödöse Museum and hike through the unspoilt nature of the Svartedalen nature reserve. Trollhättan, Vänersborg, Svanesund, Orust, Tjörn and Gothenburg are also interesting excursion destinations.
