"We loved our stay here! It was right off the Cypress Bayou on a branch of the river so we could easily kayak to the main bayou and access a nearby rope swing, but we were away from all the boating noise. We stayed there with our 4 little ones and had plenty of room! We loved the covered back patio that has doors we could lock on all sides so the kids could not access the water. Host was great and gave us tips on where to eat! Highly recommend, it is such a beautiful and unique area to stay in! And check out the little town in Jefferson, our kids loved stopping there."

"If there was a way to score 1/2 star I am not sure this property would even be worth that. We booked our stay and received the confirmation from VRBO. But when we showed up our cabin was locked and we could not get in. I called the host and she instructed us to go to the cabin across the street. We did, it was unlocked. We unloaded our things and then received a knock on the door, met a lovely couple who said they were there to check in. I called the host again. She said she didn’t know what to do because she was in Florida and did not have her books with her. We were 6 hours from home ourselves but packed up all our things, again and called it done, we went home. Never stayed on the property and would NEVER recommend any of her properties to another family. Still have note received any refund either!!"
