"The property was great. Access to a nice sized little lake with a canoe, two kayaks, fire pit, and great hiking trails on property. It rained a lot when we were down there which had an effect on the well water so make sure to bring pretty of bottled water to drink just in case."

"Wonderful! The house was clean and very relaxing. The owners had cinnamon rolls from a local bakery for us. One night we grilled supper. They had everything we needed. We will definitely come back."

"The Bittersweet Inn was lovely, and the perfect place for a family group of 10. We used it as our HQ for a family wedding. It has plenty of space, allowing us to really spread out, and it is comfortably appointed. We were pleased with how clean the property was. It also has a beautiful view of the Hermann area. If we were to make suggestions, it would be for slightly sturdier kitchen utensils (like stronger spatulas) and more forks."

"Super cute house, perfect for our family of 5 for the weekend. We had a family wedding in Hermann, and this was a perfect spot to get some rest away from the hustle and bustle. The weather was spotty, so we didn't get to enjoy the two outside areas as much as we wanted to. The management was super attentive and easy to work with. Close car ride to downtown. Great stay, thanks!"

"The house was perfect for a big group of girls! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! Such a gorgeous deck and view. We were able to walk yo Stone Hill Winery for dinner and if you’re up for a 30-40 minute walk we also were also able to walk downtown (just be prepared for the hill coming back!)"

"We loved everything about this house. The location had us 5-7 minutes from everything we wanted to see, the back yard gave us a feel of being in the woods and the back porch allowed us to relax while listening to everything going on around us (it was peacefully quiet so there was nothing but nature sounds)! The owners were so nice and we even chatted with the neighbors. We are planning an adult trip soon and cannot wait to come back"

The house so many bathrooms that made getting ready for dinner a breeze and the kitchen and dining room was great for game night. And the house was beautiful! The only complaint we had were that there seemed to be an abundance of wasps around the front porch and there was no grill."

"Very nice home, well stocked with towels, coffee, comimentary bottle of wine. Lovely place for friends to gather for the weekend. Only some difficulty with Roku, poor internet connection with lots of "buffering" with TV viewing. Lovely, comfortable king sized beds in every bedroom! Would highly recommend!"

"Very nicely kept; in a quiet neighborhood. Could walk to the post office and almost next door to one of the best vineries in the area. Also one of a few rentals that accommodate guests who are not “couples” (had a difficult time trying to find two separate beds/rooms). So glad “Wine Down” was available."

"We came to Jefferson City for a family wedding. A couple of months ago we were trying to find hotel rooms but everything was booked. I just happened upon this listing on vrbo and once we arrived at the property, I was so thankful that all hotel rooms were booked. It was wonderful to sit on the deck early morning and near dusk to watch all the wildlife. We will definitely be back!"

"Work trip in Jefferson City with five coworkers. The location was cozy and beds were comfortable. Lots of space to hang out. The kitchen was big had most everything we needed. The neighborhood with mature trees was fantastic. We were disappointed the pool table was not functional since the sticks were broken and pool table was extremely unlevel. Also the pool was great, but the lights weren’t working to use it in the evening when we were mostly there."
