"Right off the water. Walk to the marina. My room doors opened directly to a dining table, separated by plants and then the pool. I had no problem leaving the doors open to catch the breeze. The front desk staff was helpful putting together my trip to messina. Breakfast was great, included eggs. And I had dinner one-night which was equally good. A 15 minute walk down "main street" gets you to the ferry marina. Lipari is a very unique town, with many little alleyway restaurants. Totally charming. I walk all these alleys at night and feel totally safe. Enjoy this magical place."
