Located in the heart of the historic district, on a charming square, discover Lisbon's most beautiful viewpoints within a 10-minute walk:
Alfama, the Castle, the Monastery of São Vicente, the Cathedral, the National Pantheon, the flea market, the Graça and Mouraria districts, as well as its restaurants, wine bars, and traditional shops.

The Apartment

Completely renovated, this 95m² (1022 sq ft) apartment overlooks a lovely tree-lined square with views of the Tagus River in winter.
From its terrace, it's delightful to enjoy breakfast in the sun and admire the illuminated São Vicente at nightfall.

The spacious living areas (40m²/430 sq ft) comprise a living room, a beautiful adjoining dining room, two bedrooms, and two separate bathrooms. The sofa can be converted into a 140x200 cm sofa bed for a fifth guest upon request.

The separate kitchen is fully equipped.

The apartment's cheerful colors and vintage furnishings also set it apart.

Important: The prices shown are for 4 people. If the sofa bed is used for a fifth person, there is an additional charge of €30 per person per day (to be confirmed before your stay).

All rooms benefit from large windows, and the apartment's dual aspect ensures excellent ventilation.

- A rare find in Lisbon, the apartment is heated, which is very comfortable in winter.

- The apartment is equipped with fans if needed. We chose not to install air conditioning to maintain a green approach :-)

- The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a small 4-story building (one apartment per floor) accessible via the building's main staircase.

- The apartment is not equipped to accommodate very young children (no cribs or high chairs are available), and we recommend that parents be vigilant with their very young children, especially on the terrace (for safety reasons).

You will be greeted by Simone or someone from her team. Trilingual (English, French, and Portuguese), Simone will share her favorite local spots to help you have a wonderful stay. She is available and attentive, and will be there should you need anything.

Very lovely stay during the winter season. Heated apartment was ideal. Enough space for 2 adults and 3 teens. All amenities provided. Would have liked more clean towels to use. Very central location, close to/access to everything. Felt very safe. Would stay here again!

Wonderful place Fantastic location

Lovely home with great amenities and little extra's to make your stay more enjoyable. Fantastic communication. We loved the location. Centrally located to so many wonderful places. Be prepared for walking hills during your stay. Also, be aware if you use the washing machine it can take 1-3 days for your items to dry on the rack.

Perfect Location!

Having never been to Lisbon/Portugal, we didn’t know where we’d want to be situated for our first half of our vacation. This place was absolutely perfect! We loved how close we were to awesome restaurants, historic sites, incredible views, and amazing shopping. We literally walked everywhere! The apartment was everything we could hope for-comfortable, modern and the best part was the terrace/balcony where we had coffee every morning and wine most evenings. We’ll be back!!! Thank you 💕

Lisbon in April

The overall stay at the property was terrific. Nice, clean property on the 3rd floor (which is American for 4th). Owners should provide a list of nearby restaurants and other favorites. There are some, but not a ton, of local non-touristy places nearby. OPrego was our favorite. There was some miscommunication about the check in process, and there are a lot of "rules" which were a bit obnoxious - but which we overcame quickly.

The apartment was spacious for the 2 of us to share. It was clean and in a nice area in Lisbon. Just down the hill are some great restaurants and shops. One thing that was not ideal for us was the accessibility. The apartment is in a 3-story walk-up apartment building. While we were prepared to tackle the hills and stairs of Lisbon, we did not anticipate having to walk up 3 stories every time we went back to our air B&B. This was not shared in the description on the site. Personally, we would not have rented this air B&B if we had known about the stairs. Overall, it was a nice apartment.

Birthday celebration trip to Lisbon

Good location, apartment as described in listing and reviews. As highlighted by other reviewers we felt this property let itself down by issuing quite so many ‘rules’ there were several slightly official e-mails followed by a whole written file of rules on the table but no welcoming touches - a small jug of milk, a folder with some local ideas / restaurants and / or a friendly note maybe would offset the regular reminders for cash to pay tax etc. We are regular users of similar sites to VRBO & always do our very best to care for any property as if it is our own - here we felt like we had done something wrong before we even arrived. This apartment is truly lovely but you need to be able to over look the strictness to really enjoy it!

The three of us really enjoyed Lisbon. The location of your apartment was just perfect! We were able to get Ubers easily to any of the major attractions or any restaurant that we wanted to try. The apartment was spacious and very clean and airy.

Nice Apartment in Alfama

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment, which was well appointed. Location wise it was a 15 minute walk mostly downhill to the center of Lisbon and there were several dining options nearby. The only caution I would give is the number of stairs you need to climb to the apartment

Located in a delightful, but very hilly part of Lisbon. Many food options in the neighborhood. Kitchen and bathrooms modern and well-stocked. Plenty of room to spread out with a glass of vino verde at the end of a long day sightseeing. Would happily book again the next time.

First time to Lisbon

Property worked well for our purposes, it is near tram lines and restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio after a busy day of touring, bedrooms were comfortable. We did breakfast at vrbo and ate out other meals. It was handy to have washing machine. Unit is on third floor and up a bit of a hill so getting suitcases in was tiring but worth it.

Well equipped apartment in prime location. The stairs were a challenge with luggage but we 60 yr olds managed. You need to be prepared for climbing the hills but the effort is so worth it or you jump in a tuk tuk. The restaurant Prego near the apartment has great food and offers Fado that was a great experience. Great apartment and great location.

Superbe logement : quartier historique et toutefois au calme. Fonctionnel, bien équipé, literie au top. Le must : la terrasse, apéritifs et déjeuners ou dîners sans souci a 4. 2 couples sexagénaires : on a vraiment apprécié les 2 salles de bains et 2 toilettes indépendants et privatifs.
