Stayed at the property for three nights. Was looking for higher-end, centrally located property - and this unit delivers. Everything in the unit is basically brand new. Unit looks exactly as the pictures depict. Access to the unit is via separate building and dwelling door code key entry - so super easy (no need to wait around to meet anyone, etc.). It is a quintessential nice NY-style two bedroom/two-and-a-half bath apartment. Unit has heavy interior shutters to quell any external noise but we really didn’t need them. Absolutely perfect for our family of four (I think six would be too many for this size unit).
We didn’t use the kitchen but unit had everything you need if you choose to go that route. Living room worked for the kids to watch some TV while the adults did some beer sampling at the pub at night.
As for centrally located - you have a Boba tea shop, a cocktail bar and a breakfast place in the same building (the former literally outside the front door and the latter two around the corner). But if you are in to beer, Delerium, which has over 30 beers on tap, is kitty corner up the street, with great two-seat balconies.
I was worried that the unit did not have very many reviews (I think there was actually only 1 when I booked it) so hopefully this quells any concerns future renters might have. It’s a great spot. If you are looking for walking access to everything Chiado, Alfama and Baixa have to offer, this is your place.
