Apartment is very conveniently located. Close to transit, restaurants transit and sights but noisy late into the night. The apartment is very well appointed and great patio where we had breakfast and lunch most days. Joao was very helpful about the area. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Loved our stay and the host was great! Everything worked and was clean. The apartment and kitchen were fully stocked with everything we needed. Loved the terrace space! Excellent location. Yes it’s on the second floor and there are stairs, we had luggage and it wasn’t a problem for us. The club music was very loud a few nights, but it’s a loud city. Highly recommended! Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous apartment and host

Apartment was exactly as described impeccably clean stylish and in the heart of Barrio Alto loads of local good bars and restaurants and perfect location to explore Lisbon. Perfect Location for Lisbon

Great place, clear instructions, Juao is a great host. Know two things: Fri, Sat, and Sun will be noisy, there is a restaurant bar downstairs, but excellent soundproofing keeps out most of the noise; and the stairs are steep for those less abled. Otherwise excellent.

This apartment was perfect for our five day stay in Lisbon. It was close to lots of places to eat or go have a drink. Getting to the metro or trolley or bus was easy. Host meet us at arrival and was super helpful. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom and shower are great. We enjoyed the CDs and player for some fun music. Various small grocery stores are nearby to get food and nespresso coffee pods. We used the washing machine (tip: bring laundry sheets/pods) and drying rack.The Bairro Alto neighborhood is fun and lively. We could often hear music from nearby restaurants. We were there Friday to Wed and the only night that was really loud was Saturday. But, we had enjoyed a night out so falling asleep was no problem for us!

Great apartment, well located to reach all sights and attractions, 10 mins walk to Rossio Station. The balcony was great to relax on with a glass of wine after a busy day and the apartment was well equipped. Will definitely be back.

Great location, great apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The location could not be better, right in the centre of Biarro Alto and Chiado. Comfortable and clean place to stay, and just step outside to a plethora of choices of restaurants, bars and things to do right on your doorstep. Spoilt for choice ! Loved it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city. Surrounded by lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Train and tram links all within easy walking distance. Lisbon Stay

Our stay was great. The property was exactly as promised. You would have to keep in mind that the Bairro Alto area is very busy on Friday and Saturday with nightlife. The apartment does a very good job at muffling the sound. The host was very helpful and conscientious. The are makes it very easy to access all the sites.

Excellent layover

We enjoyed our stay in Joao's apartment very much. He was extremely accommodating for our early arrival, providing helpful advice and assisting in our stay. The apartment is as advertised and in a great area of Lisbon. Joao was concerned the noise on the street might be bothersome but the windows & shutters were very effective. All in all a good stay. Lovely, Lively Lisbon!

Great location, excellent host, wonderful well stocked apartment! Only 2 comments that were short of perfection. You must walk up and down 2 flights of stairs on every journey. Good exercise! The street noise was bothersome, bring earplugs. Overall,loved it!
