Absolutely amazing location and hosts.Perfect for English speaking guests.Super comfortable and superb Breakfast i didn’t need lunch after it there was so much on offer.This is the place to stay when visiting this majestic mountains and quaint Country side. I am a super host on airbnb so trust me on my recommendation. Enjoy i’ll be back for sure👌

This is a very beautiful space, well kept, with nice and cozy houses and a delicious breakfast. It is located in a small and very quiet village with view to the mountains, and you can hear the church bells. Very peaceful. To improve only the check-in as we had to wait a few minutes and there were no signs on the doors information on local activities (opening hours of museums, etc.)

Very professional
We were pleasantly impressed with the professionalism seen in every detail, from the printed tags identifying every kind of jam on the buffet breakfast counter to the overall cleanliness of the rooms and premises, including the outside areas. On our next trip to the area, as we are likely to come and visit family there, this will definitely be the place where we will stay.

Comfort in a quiet village.
This is rather an out of the way place that we chose as being fairly close to Lisbon for our flight home, so can't comment on what there is to see locally. It's in a small village and the nearest restaurants are a short drive away. From our experience of one meal, the cuisine is best described as "robust" rather than refined! The place itself is very nicely appointed. The room is large with quality furnishings and an outside door gives easy access for luggage. The owner speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable and keen to chat. Although we were the only guests on the night we stayed, the breakfast spread was vast and the home made jams extremely tasty.

Perfect Portuguese Pad!
This place was so perfect, we booked a second night and used the hotel as our base for exploring the area. The staff was incredibly helpful with suggestions - especially local restaurants. They make you feel at home oh - and the breakfast is great!

DONT GO THERE - NOBODY WAS THERE TO ACCEPT US !!!
We got to the hotel at 9 PM Nobody was there. With some luck the front (locked usually) door was open so we were able to get in the reception. lights were closed and not a sole to be found. We called the number left for emergencies and guests who arrive "late" and nobody answered it. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE... as in NO SERVICE at all.

A rural hotel managed by 3 women members of the family, very pleasant and happy to help out with information about sites in the area. Nice breakfast buffet.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön und sehr gemütlich. Man muss sich mit dem Bellen der Hunde in der Nachbarschaft und dem Gong der Kirche arrangieren. Wir haben es nach ein paar Tagen gar nicht mehr wahrgenommen. Die Unterkunft selber hat uns super gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Entorno, edificios y atencion excelentes.
Es un bed and bresfast rural. Por ello, no tienen muchos servicios, incluido las habitaciones, que sólo las arreglan dos veces en semana. El entorno cercano a la Sierra de Montejunto es sensacional, los edificios, decoración y habitaciones muy cuidados y con gusto, las camas cómodas, el desayuno buffet es pequeño pero completo, si quieres uno huevos te los hacen en el momento. La atención de las personas es excelente, preocupados por que pases unos buenos días y te aconsejan sobre actividades a hacer en la zona. Buena relación calidad-precio. Lo peor, las carreteras comarcales de la zona. Preferíamos volvernos de las excursiones antes de que anocheciera, no nos sentíamos seguros circulando por ellas.

Fim de semana relaxante
Fomos passar o fim de semana prolongado, para festejar aniversário de casamento, nesta casa de turismo rural e posso dizer que fica num local muito calmo e tranquilo. Muito bom para descansar. Os quartos estão muito bem decorados. Fomos surpreendidos com alguns miminhos que não estávamos à espera. O ambiente tipo familiar é muito bom e iremos regressar, com certeza.

Un hotel muy acogedor
Una semana de estancia, desde el 28/12 al 3/01, (pareja + yorkshire) en este hotelito tan acogedor. El personal muy amable y atento. Nos alojamos en el apartamento Moinho, un loft de dos plantas muy espacioso y completamente equipado. Todo super limpio. Nos movimos en coche tanto hacia el norte como hacia el sur, con buenas carreteras, bien comunicado. Algo importante, cerca del hotel hay un pequeño supermercado para comprar suministros para las cenas.

un havre de paix
Caterina et ses parents réservent un accueil des plus chaleureux et répondent à toutes vos questions. Le petit déjeuner préparé par la maman est divin (patisseries maison). L'emplacement est idéal pour rayonner dans la région, mais voiture indispensable. Si vous ne souhaitez pas sortir pour dîner, possibilité de commander votre repas et diner sur place. Enfin, le lieu est tout à fait charmant.

A beautiful and tranquil gem!
Lovely place where architecture and exquisite decor provide the most aesthetic dance for your eyes. Spotless and clean, well equipped, with every detail thought of. Beautifully and tranquilly located among the green hills and vineyards adjacent to Serra de Montejunto, yet with major sights of the Oeste region easily accessible by car. We (two adults and one eight-year-old) stayed for three nights in apartement 'Moinho'. We give Artvilla our very best recommendations!
