Blue Urban Alfama is a renovated and cosy apartment in a secular building in the heart of Alfama. It has independent living room, bedroom and kitchen and a decoration with shades that provide tranquility, harmony and good energies. Casa Blue Urban Alfama is located in the heart of the oldest, typical and genuine district of Lisbon - Alfama, with its charming alleys and an architecture with the peculiar characteristics of old and colourful buildings. Alfama is a area that resembles an old village not only for its appearance but for its relatively small and close community. Around there are museums, monuments, viewpoints, transport, commerce, restaurants, fado houses, cafes, bars and all kinds of shops and services. Within walking distance of the apartment we have the Fado Museum (river direction) and the S. Castle Jorge (on one of the highest hills). At about 300 metres (Castle direction) we have the viewpoints of Portas do Sol and Sta. Luzia where you can take the famous tram 28. The neighbouring São Vicente district is 300 metres away, where there are 2 of Lisbon's most imposing monuments - National Pantheon and São Vicente de Fora Monastery and on Tuesdays and Saturdays you can visit the famous Flea Market dating back to the 19th century.
