Issues with check in. Property manager refused to share check-in instructions until 3 hours before arrival. Coming from Seattle, 17 hour travel, did not want the hassle of poor internet, etc. to keep us from accessing unity. I tried to explain this multiple times but they were inflexible. This went against the VRBO/reservation which stated we would get instructions 3 days ahead of time. Minor issue with coffee maker, no coffee capsules, and no support from management on what kind specifically to purchase. Minor because it's just a coffee maker. But, if you advertise a coffee maker I would assume there would be coffee. Otherwise, what is the purpose. But most annoying was unwillingness to help in any way. They insisted this was not a hotel so they were not required to do anything. Absolutely horrendous customer service! Space had a heavy musty, mildew smell. Typical for an old building. Maybe air it out a bit? Some doorways were short. Watch your head.LOVED the outdoor space. Clothes washer was good and then to dry outside. Also, with door open, made the place feel much bigger.Very roomy for two people.2 bathrooms were good. Location - good. Funicular out of order so be ready for much walking up steep hills to get to Avenida Liberdades.Loved the neighborhood. Uber will drive right up to the apartment.
