Right from check in, we were greeted with a nice friendly staff member who told us about the amenities. The whole place was very clean and had a nice look to it. The morning breakfast was simple but was a nice touch to have some food before heading out for the day. Great location, we found nearby street parking and walked everywhere. We’d definitely stay here again!

So this is a second review because I stayed two nights unfortunately. It’s very noisy. Every little sound echoes throughout the place.

Go to a hotel
Not sure why this is so highly rated. It’s a hostel with hotel prices. I paid $70 which did include a private bath but no Wi-Fi in the room and no soap or shampoo. Breakfast was ok. Would not stay here again I’d rather go to a hotel with better amenities.

Location can’t be beat!
The only thing I regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We stayed 2 full days in Sintra, but it wasn’t enough. The hostel was clean, people friendly. Would definitely return.

My sister and I stayed at this hostel for two nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we checked in he even carried our large bags up the stairs and would not accept a tip. The first day the wifi connection did not work for a few hours but the rest of our stay it worked fine. The restaurant downstairs is highly recommended. We were happy to be on the quiet side of Sintra. Highly recommended.

Convenient, Clean, and Modern
Loved my stay at Moon Hill. Very convenient to the train station and incredible restaurants. Room was clean and modern, and bar/outdoor patio was the perfect after dinner spot! many people just take day trips to Sintra, but I was thrilled to stay overnight at such a welcoming place.

It’s a hostel
Don’t forget - it is a hostel, even if you’re staying in a standalone ‘superior double room’. Somehow, a night here is more expensive than one in the actual hotel located nearby, which has much better conditions. Breakfast is very primitive. Much worse than the ones served in the other hotels within a 100 meter range. But maybe it’s okay for a hostel.

Nice place to stay if in Sintra on a budget!
Nice, clean hostel room to myself, with modern decoration. Shared bathroom was clean and not too busy. Location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall I recommend!

Probably the most expensive place we stayed at in all of Portugal. Nice, clean, young and modern. Comfortable beds and a nice shower. Good breakfast and close to everything.

La possibilité d'être accueillis à toute heure est très agréable. La chambre est tres propre, pas tres grande. Une belle vue depuis la chambre. Il y a un peu de circulation dans la rue.

Recomendo, bom custo benefício para Sintra
Adoramos o hostel! Bem localizado, bom custo benefício. Café da manhã simples mas com tudo que precisa ter. Camas boas, banho bom, silencioso e staff legal. Não há estacionamento mas com sorte você acha uma boa vaga (grátis) uma ou duas ruas abaixo, nosso caso. Achei o horário do check-in demasiadamente tarde (15h) sendo que o check-out é as 11h, mas ao menos pudemos deixar as malas bem guardadas no hostel antes disso. Como vi em outras avaliações, o ponto negativo é a luz com sensor no banheiro que não faz sentido, fica apagando durante o banho (precisa pular para pegar movimento e acender). Também falta suporte dentro do box para colocar shampoo e sabonete, mas eles oferecem estes dois produtos líquidos que são de qualidade muito boa.

Cette auberge de jeunesse nous a permis un agréable passage à Sintra. Elle est proche de tout. Notre chambre correspond parfaitement à la description. Petit déjeuner simple et efficace.
