The family owned and managed boutique hotel was a great experience. Father and son and others were so helpful with travel options for the area, booking the ride to the airport, great breakfast and always responsive. The hotel is in a nice little neighborhood near trains and local and regional buses and about a 10-15 walk from Sintra Center with several exceptional Portuguese restaurants in between

A nice little boutique hotel in the centre of Sintra opposite the railway station. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Rooms very ordinary but clean and adequate. Lovely terrace with great views. and many tables/chairs. Breakfast was good. No other meals provided.

This property is not shiny and new (it’s an old building) and its rooms may be small but it’s a wonderful place to stay. The father and son Team (and others) are razor focussed on hospitality and do an amazing job. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choice. Good bed comfortable pillows and bedding. We would recommend to anyone visiting Sintra.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Nova Sintra. The owner and support staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially when we need to reach our guide for a bike tour. Would absolutely stay here again. Breakfast was very nice as well. Lasting memories.

Wonderful family run hotel in a great location right in the heart of Sintra. Peaceful and relaxing, the owners go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible. There is no parking onsite but it is available about 200 metres away or a 2 minute walk. The hotel property is not for people with mobility issues as there are 30 steps to go up to the hotel entrance. We loved this hotel and staff and would highly recommend.

Amazing location to explore Sintra! This is a family run boutique hotel (father and son), and they are extremely welcoming and friendly. They were able to give us all the local tips for navigating the area, and the location itself was perfect walking distance to the bus loop which covers all the major points of Sintra. Plenty of restaurants are nearby, and the hotel itself is clean and charming with a great breakfast.
