“As of September 1, 2024, the Lisbon authorities have implemented an increase in the city tax relating to the tourist tax. This municipal tax is €4 per person, per night and is not included in the total price of your accommodation. It must be paid in cash upon arrival. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and over. It is subject to a maximum amount of €28 per person."
Please note that, in accordance with Portuguese law, I am required to provide passport/ID details about my guests to the local authorities. On the day of check-in, please fill out the form that I will provide.
Check-in is between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. For arrivals after this time, please inform me when making your reservation.
Apartamento do Monte is legally registered with Turismo de Portugal under number 8241/AL and supervised by local authorities, Lisbon City Council, and ASAE. This accreditation can be verified at any time in the Turismo de Portugal database. Of course, the best independent proof of our quality is the comments from our previous guests. You are welcome to book our home to see our quality for yourself.
The apartment is located in a historic Portuguese building that is almost 100 years old, typical of traditional architecture. As is usual in old buildings, there is no elevator. The stairs are safe and well lit, and this detail is part of the charm and authenticity of the building.
The Graça neighborhood, located on one of Lisbon's highest hills, is one of the most charming and authentic places in the city, ideal for those who want to experience the “real” Lisbon, with incredible views, quiet corners, and lots of history.

A few minutes' walk away you will find Alfama, São Jorge Castle, typical cafés, urban art, and the Jardim da Cerca da Graça - perfect for exploring the city on foot.
The famous 28 tram stops at the beginning of the apartment's street, making getting around the city very practical and enjoyable.
A few minutes' walk from the apartment, there are several supermarkets, shops, grocery stores, cafés, bars, pharmacies, squares, and restaurants where you can enjoy typical Portuguese food.

1 double bedroom, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the city - 160cm x 200cm bed.
1 bedroom with two single beds (please note: this bedroom has NO WINDOW) - 90cm x 200cm bed
1 bedroom with a single bed - 90cm x 200cm bed.

The apartment is very bright with large windows that let in natural light throughout the day, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
Important information for getting to the house:
- TAXI – approx. 15 minutes from Lisbon Airport
- METRO - 40 minutes from Lisbon Airport to Martim Moniz.
At the airport, take the red line to Alameda. At Alameda, change to the green line to Martim Moniz. At Martim Moniz, you can either walk (20 minutes uphill) or take Tram 28 (only small bags are allowed on board) or Bus 734 (small bags).
