"Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay."

"The kitchen facilities were good with plenty of plates and everything provided like dishwasher tablets. The host was brilliant sorting a minor alarm issue wilst we were out for the day, peace of mind that this is provided along with cctv outside the property was nice for us as anglers. The location is fantastic for Cootehill and the surrounding area with a very friendly bar/social club just short walk up the road. "The kitchen has a good range of tools and equipment. A popcorn maker was provided with a complimentary packet of popcorn to try (which we did not). Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). There was also a coffee maker and there were coffee pods supplied which my wife made full use of! And there was a proper tea pot supplied and backup tea bags were available. Easter in Cavan town.

"We found the Kilmore Hotel in Cavan town to be absolutely excellent in each and every category and actually couldnt find a a bad word to say about it! The bedroom/bathroom was spotless and fresh with ample toiletries for our overnight stay in a triple room and the next morning we enjoyed ample choices for our cooked fresh to our table breakfast plus the menu had a vegetarian & vegan choice on it which was good to see and delicious on arrival on all counts. We will definitely consider a return visit for our next stay in County Cavan. "
