"Very convenient for Airport as Tram 2 stops, and hotel stop just 100 meters walk. Easy check-in, Pool was handy as 34C when we stayed. Lifts good, Aircon worked (just)but controls a bit weird. Kitchenet was handy with pod coffee machine, fridge, microwave and hob, plus all the crockery you will need. A nice big room and bed, with blackout curtains. All in all, a very pleasant 5 nights, especially after hot days walking in the city and amazing waterfront. Though you need your wits, with some narrow pavements and poorly marked bike lanes. My wife lost a pair of prescription designer sunglasses, we thought in the city after a boozy (Margeaux for 40 Euro!) dinner in one of the wonderful alfresco squares (doom and gloom) The room cleaner found them, they sent email and posted them to us at cost postage fee DHL. So pleased as £££! to replace. Tram,(line A) buy a week one, bargain at 29 euro unlimited hop on off trips. We usually hire a car(saved £300 and hassle), but thought as Bordeaux is a cars not wanted city, let's give it a go. We really enjoyed it, though 40 mins into city and many stops, it was never that busy and no trouble and a nice change from driving, traveling with the locals and seeing the city go by.. Tram 2 Stops from hotel to a giant Carrefour and shopping Centre, a must visit, its vast, and amazing wine selection."

"We spent three lovely nights at this adorable and perfectly located hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. La Tour Intendance is exactly the type of place we enjoy staying when visiting cities in France and Europe in general. It is quaint with historic features and feels very much part of the historic part of Bordeaux. Its location is a short walk from the nearest Tram line (to the airport or other parts of the city), and to explore the city on foot. The street itself, while only a few moments walk from busier roads and the old town, is a beautiful curved primarily pedestrian street. This was especially enjoyable while sitting at their outside tables with a coffee or a bottle of wine. The staff are absolutely lovely. I made an enquiry before even booking and received a timely and helpful response regarding the possibility/process for a late check in. In person everyone we interacted with were a delight. We will stay here again without question the next time we visit Bordeaux."

"Personnel accueillant et souriant. Le restaurant présente un bon choix de nourriture pour les 3 repas . Chambre fonctionnelle avec climatisation. L’hôtel est très bien situé. Nous avons pu faire de nombreuses visites à pieds. Le tramway passe à côté et la ligne F 15 nous a permis de nous rendre à l’aéroport en environ 40 minutes pour un coût de 1.90 euro. Bref très bon rapport qualité prix."

"When arriving our taxi driver dropped us off two blocks away as that was as close as he could get. We managed but with heavy cases it was difficult. I didn't choose the breakfast option as I personally feel 21 euro a person is too expensive. We went to different cafes and spent much less. I loved the location as we were able to walk everywhere. My only complaint was there was no mini fridge. That was my fault for not checking more carefully. As we travel with insulin it is very important for us to have a fridge. We had to ask for ice every day. Overall it was a good stay, quiet, comfortable bed and pillows and helpful staff."
