Thereare a large number of holiday houses and condos for rent here. Just three miles(five kilometers) south of Litchfield Beach on the Grand Strand is PawleysIsland, one of the oldest resort areas in the U.S. Here you'll find TheOceanfront Litchfield Inn, which includes a café and fine-dining restaurant,both overlooking the water. The small island has a population of less than 200and is renowned for its laid-back lifestyle. The public beach at the southerntip of the island is also a quiet place to swim or sunbathe.
HistoricGeorgetown, 16 miles (25 kilometers) southwest of Litchfield Beach, is anotherpopular day trip from here.
