"First off, we had an excellent checkin experience, and great site recommendations. The staff were great. The main issue was that the air conditioning did not work. This was reported to the front desk twice as the temp in the room went from 23C at checkin to 25.5C before dinner. The hotel rep went to the room when we reported the problem and fiddled with the thermostat. Seemed to work briefly when we went to sleep, but we woke up after midnight sweating at 27.5C. We opened the doors to the outside in order to cool down the room in the middle of the night. Reported this issue to the front desk at checkout. "

"The owner kept going into our room to turn of the AC that was already barely working ..we were eating breakfast and I had a view of our front door and the owner went into our room twice ..it’s unacceptable!!! Other than that the breakfast was great pool was good. The only problem was the AC that barely worked and the wifi that doesn’t work..it never works morning noon or at night… if they fixed their wifi and AC it would be a 5 stars"

"Spacious and clean private space with excellent air conditioning. A nice outdoor area, with a beautiful resident white cat (please consider giving her some treats, she's so lovely!) Quiet and peaceful setting behind a bigger hotel. A very nice shower with waterfall and detachable heads. The only issue was the WiFi not reaching the property, but this probably helped me enjoy the local area more. It's a short 10 minute walk into the centre, where there are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, coffee bars, pharmacies, etc. If you're flying in and not planning to explore much, get a taxi to Argostoli and catch the ferry rather than hiring a car. It's quicker and much cheaper. "

"Absolutely fantastic!! Very clean and well equipped. Supplying beach towels is a really good addition. Pool is very clean too. Would definitely stay here again. The owner's communication was great!!"

"A perfect villa for a family, in absolute perfect condition, great location and an ideal location to explore the area. The best communication ever by the owner Vaggelis, and he also visited us to make sure everything was ok and we had everything we needed. Vaggelis sorted out everything for us from car hire to a cool box, this also included a shopping delivery for our arrival, taxis to and from the airport, and this fully took the stress out of our holiday. We highly recommend to anyone visiting Kefalonia to stay at the Lighthouse Villa’s. Within walking distance there are a few local Taverna’s to eat & drink. We also made the short drive into Argostoli & Lassi where you can find a great variety of supermarkets & restaurants. "

"We had such a great time staying at Piazza Suites during our trip to Kefalonia. The location in Lixouri is perfect—right in the center, close to everything. You can walk to the square, grab food, or sit by the water in just a few minutes. The room was super clean, modern, and really comfortable. The bed was great, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we had a nice little balcony to relax on. Everything felt new and well taken care of. The people running the place were so kind and helpful. They gave us great tips on beaches to check out and places to eat. You can tell they actually care about their guests and want you to have a good time. If you’re coming to Lixouri, definitely stay here. It’s comfy, clean, and the location couldn’t be better. Would absolutely come back."
