The property location is beautiful. The views of the bay from the deck were wonderful.Very peaceful and amazing sunsets! Very remote so a trade off. Groceries, convenience stores,restaurants,etc.are a good distance away at least a 30 minute drive to anywhere.

A secluded escape

This cabin by the water has everything you need for a perfect, quiet, restful and serene getaway. Sunrises, sunsets, wildlife, all right on the water. Alex was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Location

We had a great stay. The views were great. Highlight was definitely watching sunrise while drinking coffee on the porch. A really private and enjoyable stay.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect stay for my family and our dog. We were looking for a quiet, nature-filled, beach vacation and we were thrilled to find this spot. The wildlife was amazing and we really were right on the beach! Can't recommend enough.

On the Water

The property was isolated and perfect for us… lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean every night, but a quick drive to all that the Cape May area has to offer. Easy drive to all the beach communities in the vicinity.

Private & Peaceful

The property is extremely private & peaceful. Alex was super communicative & friendly through the weekend/Experience. Highly recommend the location to anyone trying to get away for a weekend. Would absolutely come back next summer.

Summer Fun at the Little House

Nice Getaway

The house was great. It's a great place to just sit and relax as a family and enjoy the views. You can see the ocean from every room in the house, and the occasional dolphins swimming out front. And so many different types of birds. The house was well stocked so we could make dinner there a night as well.

Little bit of paradise

This little house on the water is so stunning. The views are unreal. Alex was responsive to all texts. Wonderful place to breathe and unwind. Sunsets by the light house are spectacular and only a 5 min walk. Private beach!

Beautiful view

We had a fun stay exploring Cape May and the Maurice River area. The rustic house has lovely views, pretty sunrises and sunsets up the street-and the area is especially fun to explore at low tide. Lots of eagles and ospreys, horseshoe crabs and sea glass to find to keep everyone entertained. Don’t miss touring the East Point lighthouse up the road if you are up in the weekend. They’ve made it a really sweet functional museum as well as a landmark.

Beautiful, Peaceful and Private Location

We stayed here for 3 nights and we had a lovely time. the house was well stocked with all the essentials. The owner was very approachable and responded quickly. The location was perfect and very private. The house has an amazing deck with amazing views of the bay. It also has beautiful large windows with great views. There is a small beach right next to the house which is more or less private. You can see the beach filled up during high tide. The place is also pet friendly

Beautiful views and serenity at its best!

This was the absolutely perfect place to unplug and completely relax. You will not be disappointed! I spent most of my time on the deck soaking in the amazing views and hearing nature all around me. I loved watching a pair of bald eagles right outside. The house was well equipped to make meals. The furniture was very comfortable. Alex checked in with me before and during my stay and immediately answered any questions. I am so glad I stayed here.

Perfect laidback weekend

My friends, dog, and I had a beautiful weekend by the water; charcoal grilling, looking for sea glass on the beach, watching the ospreys and even a bald eagle! Alex is very responsive and when we had an issue (back door lock was stuck) he fixed it within a few hours. House has basically anything you could need and the beds are comfy. The only negative is it’s quite buggy (flies, mosquitos, earwigs) but absolutely worth it for the ocean view from every window in the house and stunning sunsets. I’ll be recommending it to anyone (especially dog owners) in search of a serene getaway!

Gorgeous respite from urban life

We had a truly magical stay for a few days to escape the noise and chaos of an urban July 4th. The only noise we had to contend with was the pounding bay surf! Lovely bungalow with everything needed. Would suggest renters be aware of the salt marsh and the local dive bombers - green head fies! Not an issue on the deck at all but they are a challenge on walks! Alex was a kind and generous host. Easy to contact throughout! If you're looking to truly get-away - this is the spot!

Great view

Property had a great view and easy access to the bay beach. TV and wi-fi did not work. Oven ran on propane from a tank that you use for your grill and the propane ran out. Left a day early because we wanted to watch football and cook our food. Reached out to owner for a partial refund and never heard back.

Really quiet and scenic. Lovely.

The property was in great location. Secluded and quiet. We all loved it. There are two suggestions I would make. The outdoor furniture needs some updating. Some of the chairs were rickety. Also please let rectors know stores and restaurants are a minimum of half an hour away. Not a problem but would be good to know. We did find a great restaurant in Port Norris…. The Red Eyed Crab. Great place. Open only Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Peace and quiet

Alex's home was exactly what we needed. It is located on the Delaware Bay and about an hour from Cape May. We spent our time on the deck enjoying the breeze and views. Luckily we came with a cooler full of food for the week because the closest grocery store was about 30 minutes away but WAWA was 15. Our dog enjoyed her walks, too. Word of caution, you must bring bug spray. Ticks, mosquitoes, and flies like to visit thanks to the nature preserve. Luckily we didn't have any issues but I know that Alex would have been responsive if something came up.

Great Little Getaway

Our vacation started off with a tropical storm but we weathered it out in this adorable little house. Alex has done great work to this home and we barely noticed the winds or rain inside. Luckily we did have two great days of no rain and explored the beach next to the house (great for sea glass hunting) and the adorable East Point Lighthouse near by. Nancy and Carl at the lighthouse are the best! Highly recommend the red eye crab for seafood (it is about 25 mins away but worth it!) Most stores and restaurants are a bit of a drive from the house but it’s worth it for the seclusion. If you want to get away and disconnect for a bit, this is the perfect place! Alex is very quick to respond for any issues and so great to work with!
