"Very remote rental in a beautiful town! This was an amazing experience to explore Crete’s amazing views. There were two local taverns within walking distance that had amazing food made by local families. We grabbed groceries in Kissamos after flying into Chania, which is what we would recommend since the larger grocery stores are there and we were able to stock up on some food, since there really aren’t any close grocery stores other than small minimarts. "The views and privacy were great. You need to be physically able to do stairs and walk hill to parking. The house itself is rustic and need to bring all necessities with you. We were comfortable with our stay. The mama cat and kitty were adorable on the property. "
