A cup or glass in the room would have been most useful. Also blue liquid soap in shower is body wash, shampoo & conditioner? No bar soap present. Nice breakfast.

It was similar to a uk Travel lodge. Staff comunication prior to booking was excellent. The rooms were a little run down and it is situated next to a hospital so need to keep the windows Closed due to noise. 10 min walk in to the centre

Found this hotel on Expedia. Reviews were good, and this will be too. :-) Initial expectations were poor - the reception/check-in area is very small. We had taken note that local tax would be payable, but the folks in front of us had not and we're being a bit confrontational. But the check-in for us was painless and polite. The rooms were nice and clean and in good repair. The air con was a godsend!!!!!! We had rooms at the back overlooking the hospital, but there was no noise and while the "view" was poor, it didn't bother us as we wanted to be out and about. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the river, and less than 10 mins walk to restaurants and centre of town. It's also only 10 mins walk from the railway station, which for us was a reason to choose it. Would heartily recommend this as a good hotel situated reasonably. Rooms are clean and tidy, all facilities worked. I have no issue recommending this hotel. Would stay here again

At Best , one could describe this as an average hotel. First, it’s OVERPRICED if you book it through Expedia. Second, it offers very little beside a basic sleep-over accommodation; breakfast is very basic, there are no coffee machines in the rooms, there aren’t even the cups in the rooms, the parking is very expensive but it usually not available so you have to look elsewhere. Room cleaning is superficial too. It’s an old hospital building that’s redesigned as a hotel with views of other hospitals in the vicinity. Everything about is so basic that is feels like a real rip-off. It’s only real semi-positive thing is that it’s located near Ljubljana’s city center and one can easily walk there. If you are in need and need a room to stay just for one night, use it but don’t book it through intermediaries such as Expedia because it’s much cheaper if you book it directly.

Comfortable rest
Hotel is great, comfortable bed, quality towels, friendly staffs beyond expectation. Just would love to suggest providing the room with table tissue, glass cup & indoor disposable slippers, it would hv been perfect.

I enjoyed two stays. It's in a lively, slightly Boho, area, with both the bus/train station and centre/old town easily walkable. For a three star, the rooms were an excellent standard. My only criticism is the WiFi could have been a bit stronger. Best of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Smoke!
Cigarette smoke everywhere. Room filled with smoke, had trouble breathing. It’s a shame. Would be a nice clean hotel if it weren’t for this issue. Receptionist was not there when we arrived. The sign said “will be back shortly”, which of course doesn’t help. We couldn’t call because we did not want to use roaming. We ended up calling after waiting 15 minutes, and the receptionist came momentarily.

This place does not deserve even one star, let alone, three. The room looked like a dump, overlooking the well made up by brick walls, the shower curtain dirty, sink not working, mold in the corners. We requested to be transfered to another room. The new room looked better, but it was not cleaned in 3 days we stayed there, even after our complaints to the front desk, the trash cans were overflowing, towels not changed. When I asked for an extra pillow, the front desk manager, who gave his name as Rok, literally laughed at me. When I showed him the pictures of the hotel rooms in their ad, his response was that those rooms were "symbolic". We used to trust Expedia's recommendations, but this experience shattered that trust. No possibilities to store or hang anything in the room. Not a single cloth hanger available, just a double hook on the wall. Breakfast choices and setting was below standards.

This hotel was overpriced, and the location was not good - it was right in the middle of the major hospital, opposite a trauma centre, next to medical equipment shops, and near ambulances day and night. I would not stay here again.

Double room (not single use) is 15EUR more for two
There was double-room single use and a more expensive double room option which it said sleeps 2. When I arrived after picking the more expensive not-single-use choice I was made to pay an extra 15EUR because two people showed up to check in. They played dumb about the way the room was listed and insisted on the extra 15. Also, all the electricity in the room is off unless a room key is left in a slot inside the room. Which could inconvenience people with one key if they need to charge things while out. That and the front desk forgot to mention this when we checked-in. Room and breakfast were fine.
