All the staff we met were lovely to chat to, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had and the pool was excellent for a quick dip after a hot day sightseeing. Location was ideal too! Would definitely recommend and come back here if ever in Ljubljana again.

The hotel was ideal for our one week city break. Positioned right in the city centre, just metres from the river. The breakfast was truly excellent. We chose this hotel as, rarely for a city centre hotel, it had an outdoor pool besides which we spent some hours relaxing and soaking up the sun - and occasionally actually having a swim. The staff were all really helpful. My wife and I would unreservedly recommend this hotel as an ideal place to stay in Ljubljana.

Amazing location for site. Tired rooms which is fine but it was difficult to get help. Breakfast was fantastic and reception was also helpful. The roof patio and plunge pool was a godsend during this hot August. Rooms not ax so we searched for a fan. Love this city though.

First up, we really REALLY loved our stay here. It’s in such a great location, the staff are so friendly, the city is such a buzz. But there are a few cons with the room we had. The main thing that let it down, and this sounds really trivial, but the wall facing the room is “glass”, so you pulled a curtain across for privacy. Plus, as we later figured out, a towel hook had fallen off the wall, landed about a third of the way across the doorway, and stuck fast. I stubbed my toe badly, and am still hobbling. We realised, when the second hook fell off, that it served no purpose. The breakfasts are brilliant, the mattress is super, the pillows are not, and the roof top pool area is a blast. It’s really a fabulous place to stay in an amazing city. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!!

Brian was the star of the front desk, incredibly helpful. All the front desk were. Lovely setting on the river, lively in a quiet way - lots of nearby eateries & bars. Right in the heart of the old town. Everywhere was walkable, very helpful to know of the courtesy shuttle to the end of pedestrian area to get to the station... Nice infinity pool & rooftop area... We had a small room ... but the bathroom reminded me of a bathroom in a caravan. Lovely fluffy robes and towels but only two hooks. Comfy bed.... Food ok nothing to write home about. Trendy drapey curtains were a bit of a pain and my heart sank when I saw the glass wall of the bathroom... only gripes though..

Great location. Reception staff was great. Bit of an issue with breakfast being served in a timely fashion, waited nearly an hour only to be served cold eggs and left before we were served the other part of the meal which was just fruit. Staff was very apologetic and the next day was very quick to be fair. Street noise was noticeable but not horrible. To be expected given the location. Glass walled bathroom was very weird but there were at least curtains.

Great hotel. The location, the breakfast and the roof top pool are the highlights. The rooms are quite small and basic but totally ok. Wonderful staff. Paid Parking is 3 min away. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is situated in a great location which is close to the popular attractions. It has a nice restaurant and bar with outside seating along the canal. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Luka. We would come back again.

Great property right in the old town. Staff couldn't of been more helpful. The food and the breakfast were plentiful and freshly made. 😋 Only downside was the shower leaked badly and the floor was soaking wet. I did mention this and they are aware of the problem. Would stay again and recommend.

Excellent location right on the river in the old town next to bars and restaurants. Room was clean and tidy with a modern bathroom however there was a smell that came from the water, the room was also way too warm so had the windows open a lot. Breakfast was outstanding, I had the avocado and egg on toast and it was delicious. Also really appreciate the late check out time.

Vander Urbani Resort was a bit of a mixed experience for us, because some aspects were truly outstanding while others could really use some attention. The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment we checked in. Even simple requests, like extra pillows, were handled quickly and graciously — something we’ve learned not to take for granted while traveling! The included breakfast was easily the best hotel breakfast we’ve had on this trip, with an excellent selection and quality. The hotel’s public spaces are stylish, attractive, and very well maintained, and the location is terrific for exploring Ljubljana. The rooftop pool is also a really cool feature. The infinity edge gives it a unique feel and makes the rooftop area a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view. Our room itself, however, was a different story. While very spacious, it felt quite dated. The carpet had noticeable stains, and two large bathroom tiles were cracked and actually moved when stepped on. The bathroom was generously sized but oddly lacks hooks, shelving, or much space to set down toiletries. Our room also became very hot during our last night, and despite adjusting the thermostat, the air conditioning did not seem to respond. Overall, the room had the feeling that it probably would have been quite luxurious decades ago but is now in need of a refresh. That said, this hotel has so much going for it — a wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, fantastic location, stylish commo

The room was spotlessly clean, the staff was kind, helpful and understanding. Tiny touches were missing, like drinking glasses were put directly on the counter, without coasters. Hairdrier was not working. There were no extra towells by the pool, the pool adjacent area looks like a storage. The quality of coffee machines both in the room and at breakfast should be improved. A selection of teas in the room would be nice.

Wonderful hotel in the center of action

We just loved this hotel, right on the river surrounded by outdoor restaurants, easy walk to the castle funicular), markets, shops. Rooms are big, wonderful breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff.
