"Excellent location ( near to town centre and promenade). Air conditioned rooms ( now essential ! ). The whole hotel coped well with hot weather. Attentive and professional staff throughout. Sea view rooms face North so they avoid heat for most of the day."

"Stayed 2 nights, comfy bed had everything we needed, had a kettle, tea/coffee station, hotel was being refurbished ie scaffolding on the outside of building that didn't effect our sea views, hotel very friendly & helpful i would go again for a budget friendly atmosphere also what I liked the most was the swimming pool I had the whole pool to ourselves at our stay 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 o"

"This hotel is a lovely old building set in very pleasant grounds. We visited to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday and were given a complimentary upgrade to a four poster room. It was spacious and nicely decorated in a traditional way which suited the property. We didn't use the spa facilities, but the swimming pool and jacuzzi were nice. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of options, generous portions and all nicely cooked. They did run out of wholemeal bread which was a bit disappointing. We ate in the restaurant on our second night and enjoyed our meal although we felt it was a little expensive for basic Italian food. All the staff we came across were polite and helpful. A very enjoyable couple of nights"

"I loved the pool area it was really nice and good to see the pool being cleaned overnight. it would be good if there was a bar of soap provided as it’s tricky having a bath when the squeeze shower gel is high at shower level. The shower was a bit dodgy as it squirted water upwards and bounced off the ceiling but I did report it. The rooms were nice and we had a great fan to keep us cool. nice tea and coffee with decaf too. The only bit that was frustrating was that the people came to collect the dirty washing or something at 6am which was really noisy each morning. The lady on reception was lovely. I didn’t anticipate being asked to pay for parking though which was a bit of a surprise. Breakfast was good with a nice cooked breakfast and yoghurt cereal juice etc. I heard people asking for porridge and someone was offered pancakes so it would have been nice if we had been offered this too."
