The Wind Resort - Tropical Hillside Escape

"Staff were very helpful with any request. Rooms were well cleaned and replenished daily. Location was pretty good though the hill never got any easier for the climb home after dinner. However it was disappointing to find that the provision of a shuttle to drop you and pick you up within a 5 km radius along with the loan of a local phone to call reception for pick ups had been discontinued. Those facilities played a big part in why chose The Wind Resort. Also breakfast was a slightly random setup. 2 days/wk it was self serve buffet style and you could order frozen a cooked menu but the other 5 days you had to spend order everything the day before. However breakfast was plentiful so never went hungry."

"Overall service was excellent. However, there are just 2 restaurants. While only 1 serve dinner during weekday. The restaurant name steak and bone, yet there isn’t really steak. It seems to be over price. I stay at floor 11 (closely highest floor) below either fountain or kids water play ground and it is so noisy at night. I was told that it will turn off at night, but all night long can hear the water that comes can’t sleep well. Another thing, the room temp can be set @22C. But it is so hot and I can’t set it any lower."

"Loved everything especially the breakfast buffet there is definately something for everyone and staying here a week felt like home after the first night. The balcony view was stunning and jaw droppingly beautiful. The staff go over and above. Lovely place just perfect. Thank you vias for making our Vietnam vacation a dream come true!!!"

"Description on Expedia of the property is inaccurate. This hotel is not on the beach and has no access to the beach at all. Will need to walk quite a distance to get to a nearby one which isn’t even suitable for swimming. One star deducted for the rooftop swimming pool closing too early at 6PM which is when most guests are getting back to their rooms after exploring the city or whatever activities."
