Great location and facility. Enjoyed our Hocking Hills experience.

Great weather and location. We stayed at this same cabin one year ago. The proximity to the various caves is great and easy to get around. Fireplace and fire ring is nice to have on cool nights. It has shown some wear from the prior year.

Girls weekend

Very nice property. Clean and beds were comfortable. Only i.provements would be better towels, throw blankets in the living room, and washer/dryer. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Nice getaway with my girlfriends

The house was clean and cozy for me and my 3 girlfriends. Only negative was that we visited in February and the house was still fully decorated for Christmas, tree and all.

The cabin is beautiful and cozy! Loved the fireplace on the big deck! We built a fire most days .. loved it! Not all the jets work on the hot tub but it was still a nice soak ! Great time !

Great property in Hocking Hills. Well situated and liked proximity of fire ring and back deck fireplace. Could used more dishsisp and scrapper to clean pans but otherwise good.

Ma Kettle takes the youngins to a fancy “get-up”

Very nice and very much “cabin” vibe! There may have been bats in the roof somewhere as we could hear their screeching at night. If the hot tub lights worked it would have been cool ! We saw deer, heard wild turkeys & saw an eagle all from the back deck! We very much enjoyed the fireplace on the porch! Cabin was clean .

Ladies Getaway

We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the property and the attention to detail such as providing toiletries in the bathrooms. The hot tub was a great way to end a day of driving and hiking. Returning after dinner it was welcoming to see all the decorative lights throughout the trees. It had been challenging to find a 5 bed property that allowed a one night stay in October.We were very lucky to find this property.

Great Memorial Day weekend

My family and I enjoyed our stayed. The drive way was big and mostly flat. The porch was amazing and had great features, hot tub, fireplace, table and chairs. 2 Full bathrooms was great for our family. We did have to communicate with the owners during the stay and they communicated promptly with us.

Awesome relaxing weekend !

The cabin is beautiful !! The fireplaces and surroundings on the lot are incredible! It was not as secluded as the pictures showed. This cabin has neighbors on both sides that you can see from the back deck. The fireplace on the deck was used each day ! We loved it ! We enjoyed the hot tub even tho only one jet was working ! Overall a great weekend !

Fireside Cabin

It is a nice property but they could use new skillets and fireside chairs. Also, the hot tub was not clean. But we still had a good time. I bought a skillet and extra towels and paper products for the stay from the Walmart which was only 15 min away.

Overall good, but a few issues...

Overall we had a good experience at Fireside. It was neat and clean, the view from the back porch is pleasant, and it is a very quiet area; there were plenty of towels, and the two full baths were helpful. That said, I can't give it five stars because of a few issues. The roof creeks and pops a lot, and so do the floors. The water pressure is unpredictable, sometimes it flows lightly and then all the sudden will have full pressure. Seems like maybe the well pump controller needs some adjustment, or a new tank is needed. We were never without water, it just meant half a shower might be light flow and the other half normal. Otherwise it was a nice property in a good location.

Girls Trip

Great cabin! The host replied right away when I had questions. The hot tub was cloudy so we called and they sent someone within 2 hours. Clean. Good location. Everything was only a 15-20 mins drive to grocery, restaurants and hiking. 5 girls, we shared beds. The loft was nice, but that sun coming in the morning it was very bright. Neighbors we far enough away. We went in March so there were no leaves You could see the houses, but in the summer it would be very secluded. The wood burning fireplaces indoor and out by the hot tub were awesome. All the utensils needed in the kitchen. The only complaint I had was they did not provide enough toilet paper and paper towels. There were some, but not enough. Also, no cleaning supplies. It was an amazing cabin that I would recommend!

Fireside Review

While the views from our cabin were stunning and the location was peaceful, our overall stay was marred by some significant issues. The hot tub, unfortunately, had a concerning problem with a green, unidentified substance that emitted a horrific smell. This made it impossible to use and even caused our clothes to absorb the odor. It was quite unpleasant and left us feeling unsettled. Additionally, the cleanliness of the cabin was not up to par. We noticed dead bugs throughout the space, which detracted from our comfort and sense of cleanliness. Considering these factors, we found that our stay did not live up to our expectations, especially given the price we paid. While the potential of the location was high, the issues we encountered left us feeling disappointed overall.

Beautiful large cabin with amazing area to grill and sit by the fire. Easy fast communication amole supplies the stone & woodwork is Beautiful. Hidden treasures downstairs. Plenty of space to sleep amd enjoy a large family gathering! We'd love to rent this cabin again for future outings.
