This place is exactly as cute and relaxing as it looks. We loved enjoying the fire and chilling in the hot tub and being in the woods. Very nice that neither the tub nor fire pit was near grass...we had very little mosquitoes. Our pup loved it as well...we put blankets from home on the furniture to avoid any dog hair, just an FYI for anyone traveling with pets. Loved it!

Fantastic cabin in Hocking Hills

Everything was as advertised. Very clean, well accommodated and a great location in a beautiful area. It was perfect for a getaway with our canine companion. The road up is a little rough, four wheel drive highly recommended but no big deal. It was a great stay.

Great kitchen, hot tub, bathroom on beautiful wooded property. We appreciated the lights being left on and clear instructions on how to enter and lock up. We disliked the waist high large window with no way to cover it in the shower, the severely deteriorated driveway, and zero blankets. There was a light out in the bathroom, a constant noise coming from the locked room, and not enough towels given we were asked to shower before and after as well as needing towels to dry off enough to get back to the shower. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed here for our first getaway in quite sometime and we were not disappointed. The cottage was located in a beautiful, remote location but only 20 min from anything we needed or wanted to do. The accommodations were modern and comfortable. The WiFi worked well. The relatively new gas grill fired up the first time. The hot tub was wonderful. The large front porch and the fire pit were both perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Enjoyed the cabin, great amenities, saw lots of wild life! Equipment used was operational (oven, stove, microwave, fridge, tv, grill). Would recommend bringing bottled water if well water is not desirable. Bed was comfortable, good water pressure in bathroom/kitchen. Outdoor patio/steps are well maintained. The windows/sliding doors were large and made the space feel larger. Our dog enjoyed watching the deer from the living room.

Cute and cozy

The cabin is adorable. It was perfect for two adults and our dog. The fireplace was a great feature, too! A few things we would have wanted to know ahead of time: (1) the cabin has well water and (2) the driveway up to the cabin is very steep. If it has been raining or snowing, I’m not sure I would have been comfortable diving up there. It’s better to use a bigger car if you have one.

Fun getaway

The property matched the pictures and the area was quiet and secluded. Everything worked as it should. One thing to note that is not the fault of the property, is that the internet is very slow here due to it being so secluded. If you plan on watching a lot of tv or movies, it will buffer a lot or just not play them. Also, bring bottled water as the water here isn’t great due to the location. Overall, it was a great stay and the property lived up to the listing

One thing to keep in mind if you stay here is the cottage is supplied by well water so be prepared for the not-so-great odor and stains in the shower and the dishwasher that come along with it. So bring bottled water to drink, use for making coffee, brushing teeth, etc. No use in complaining about it, nothing can be done about it so relax and enjoy everything else.

Awful Water

My husband and I went for a couples getaway. It was a lovely 2 nights. The pictures are exactly as is. It was the perfect size for 2 people. We were disappointed in the lack of “extras”. There was only 1 hook to hang all our wet bath towels, hot tub towels, and bathing suits. We had stuff everywhere trying to dry. There is no washer and dryer. There was 1 dish towel to do dishes. My number 1 problem was the awful hard water. I know they can’t help that, but there could be a water softener. It turned my blonde hair orange and I had to come home and get a hair treatment at a salon after washing my hair with Dawn for 2 days. I know this all sounds frivolous, but small simple extras would have helped.
