"The accommodation was basic but clean, located on the beach but it’s not relaxing due to the large volume of long tails boats arriving and departing all day every day. Getting a long tail boat to the pier can also be difficult. They won’t leave with one or two people so you often have to wait until more are ready to leave. Getting dropped off by the taxi boat in high tide is difficult especially at night. No good options for eating close by. You can walk to the main area in about 20/25 mins but...

"The property was a great value for the accommodation. Location was really good. Just outside of the party zone, but get close enough to enjoy it during the day. The bungalows were spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable in the air conditioning was efficient. It had a comfortable front porch to enjoy the view of the hillside. Overall I recommend it. "We’ve had a good stay at the Uphill cottage hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, helpt with our luggage all the way up to our room. And also down again when we checked out👍Every day they gave us clean towels and water. The view was very nice untop, you could see the see from two sides. I would recommend this hotel, however, you have to be fit to climb the stairs to your room!"

"The hotel was standard i most ways -- clean and comfortable. My room had some minor inconveniences, but the location was a big advantage. While it didnt bother me, the water heater on the shower in my room didnt work. Thailand is hot. Cool showers feel fine. The shower water has a sulpher-like smell when it started, but that clears up if you run the water a little while.
