Charming hotel close to the beach.

Gili Meno Garden Lodge is a simple but lovely hotel only a few minutes walk inland from the main drop off point on the beach. The facilities are basic and the bathrooms a little run down but the beds are big and comfortable. It is worth noting that the hotel is located quite close to the islands mosque and the loud speakers are clearly heard during prayer times, starting early in the morning. The staff is relaxed and very welcoming. The highlight of our stay was when we got invited to sit down for some acoustic guitar tunes together with them as they made us feel more like friends than visitors. All in all we would be more than happily come back for another stay at the Garden Lodge.

Awful place don't stay here

Do not stay here the place is a dive and the manager is even ruder! It's called bird park resort but there were no birds and it wasn't a resort! The Austrailian manager Is the rudest person we came across and she needs some lessons in customer service! The hotel looses electric regularly with no generator as back up the room doors do not close properly! The begs are riddled with bed bugs we ended up sleeping fully clothed just to prevent being bitten there are much nicer places you can stay for the same price! It's also not close to the beach it's a dark muddy walk at night to the main strip where you will not feel that safe

Vi hade bokat och betalt för två nätter men sov bara en. När vi kom till hotellet visst de inte ens att vi hade bokat (då hade vi tom betalt redan) så dom fick snabbt borsta rent våra sängar från djur. fanns bara en lampa som funkade och det va ena sänglampan, Wi-fi fungerade inte och vattnet i handfatet fungerade inte heller. Visst att det va billigt med vi bodde billigare på ön bredvid och då ingick det även frukost. Det va värt varenda krona att betala dubbla boenden dag två för att slippa sova en natt till på detta ställe. Hotellet rekommenderas inte.

Zu Stark Abgenutztes Zimmer....

Wir hatten überhaupt Glück einzuchecken da plötzlich ne Frau im Garten saß, beim auschecken keiner weit und Breit sichtbar, haben schlüssel liegen lassen. Kann nur über das Zimmer Nr.9 sprechen, dies ist schon sehr stark abgenutzt, gut wir sind auf einer kleinen Insel wo noch ganz andere Verhältnisse herrschen, aber dennoch Zimmer von aussen ging net abzuschliessen bescheid sagen wem denn?? Keiner da, also war uns das auch egal! Duschkopf stark verschlissen und kam kaum wasser raus, zumindest nicht da wo es rauskommen sollte. Nachdem ich 2-3 kleine Kakalaka gefunden habe an der unterseite der Matratze hab ich lieber net genauer hingeschaut, Klimaanlage hat funktioniert, Wifi war Katastrophal kann man fast vergessen die verbindung in dem Zimmer. Gut es ist ein 2,5* Hotel, aber hab ganz andere gesehen die am Strand auch leer waren würde ich Reisenden vor Ort am Strand zum Buchen raten.

Friendly staff, centraly located

The owner is a great lady. They are about to do renovations so the place will be even nicer. They provide fresh water and are conscience of how much garbage/ recycling is crrated. So each room gets a glass jug to refil for fresh drinking water.

La posizioni è il suo punto di forza, nella parte più bella dell'isola e direttamente sulla spiaggia. Tuttavia le criticità sono tante:la camera non è stata rifatta, nessun confort nella stanza (es. bottiglietta di acqua e due bicchieri) l'acqua in bagno è probabilmente l'acqua del mare e manca l'acqua calda

Could be a lovely hotel with a bit of work!

The rooms needs updating and cleaning up. The shower is basically a hose that just shoots out water. The ceiling was dripping where the rain had damaged it & the paint was peeling. Quite a few large ants running around. The bed was comfortable... & the breakfast was good!

Très moyen

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hôtel et c'était plutôt une déception. Certes l'île MENO est magnifique, c'est un petit paradis paisible avec des plages sublimes. Mais nous n'avons pas apprécié la chambre qui n'était pas vraiment propre, bourrée d'insectes en tous genres, et l'eau dans la salle de bain était salée (un peu compliqué pour se brosser les dents). Quand au personnel, la femme qui s'occupait du petit déjeuner était charmante, mais l'homme écoutait de la musique fort au petit matin comme si nous n'étions pas là. En plus nous avons payé très cher. Nous avons choisi de passer une nuit supplémentaire sur l'île mais nous avons changé d'hôtel, nous avons choisi des petits bengalows moins chers, très propres, mieux situés et avec du personnel très agréable!

Ett helt okej hotell. Det funkar absolut och finns egentligen inte mycket att klaga på. Det är långt ifrån ett topphotell men det funkar absolut ett par dagar. Lite halvslitet men billigt. Sängen var fräsch.

Catastrophique!

Personne ne nous attendait à notre arrivée. Après quelques fouilles, on a trouvé un membre du personnel qui était bien surpris lorsqu'on lui a dit que nous avions une réservation... Alors il va sans dire que notre chambre n'était pas prête, chambre dont la propreté laisse d'ailleurs à désirer. Également, pas de wifi et pas de déjeuner inclus. Seul point positif : l'endroit est facilement accessible à partir de la place où le bateau venant de Lombok (Bangsal) nous laisse - - 5 mins à pieds. {Si jamais vous décidez de tester vous-même l'endroit, demandez aux locaux en sortant du bateau et ils vous guideront.}.
