  • Welcome to Jolene’s Place. This stylish 1100sqft 2 bedroom, 1 bath home has been recently updated and provides all the comforts of home. Located just on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Jolene's is just a short drive to many of the local areas and attractions like Laurel Lake, Cumberland Falls, London, and Corbin. The home sleeps 6 guests with 2 queen beds and a queen highrise air mattress in the living room. The driveway offers plenty of room for boat parking as well.
    The Stay:
    This is an older cottage style 2 bedroom, 1 bath home on just under an acre. The interior has been recently updated and features laminate wood flooring throughout. This is an open floor plan with the living room, kitchen, and dining areas all together.

    Living room features: 2 leather sofas, end tables, coffee table, accent chair, fireplace hearth, 50" smart Roku TV with Vizio sound bar and sub, coat and shoe rack

    Kitchen and Dining Area features: lots of cabinets and counter space, Stainless steel Kenmore Elite appliances, most common small appliances (crockpot, blender, hand mixer) and utensils, coffee bar, complimentary spices, seating for 6 at the bar height table with 2 additional bar stools.

    Bedroom 1: Queen size bed with 2 side tables, queen memory foam mattress, ceiling fan, alarm clock, bedside hanging lamps, 3 drawer chest, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" Smart TV.

    Bedroom 2: Queen size bed with side table, queen memory foam mattress, ceiling fan, alarm clock, bedside lamp and table with USB ports inside, chest of drawers, closet with hangers and shelves, oscillating fan and 32" TV with firestick, games in top of closet.

    Bathroom: Standard size shower, wall and hand held sprayer, complimentary toiletries, towels, hair dryer, curling iron, ceiling exhaust fan and heater

    Laundry room: Top load washer and dryer, complimentary laundry soaps, folding laundry basket, bench at back door for shoes, access to the patio.

    Covered Patio: 3 rolling shades, glass top table and chairs for dining, gas grill, sitting area with rug 2 chairs, couch, table, and propane firepit table.

    Backyard has a fenced in area for hanging out or letting the kids play. there are cornhole boards and bags as well as 3 hammocks.
    There is plenty of parking for vehicles with a turn around spot and additional gravel parking for boats and trailers

Another great stay at Jolene's! If you are looking for a CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, STOCKED house Jolene's is the place for you! They have thought of everything you could possibly need. Easy to get to location, peaceful surroundings, nice paved driveway, perfect! We come from Indiana to visit family and I will book Jolene's every time I can!

The house was excellent. Has everything you need, which we really appreciated, we didn't have to bring anything from home! It was very clean and my boys just loved all the space. We plan on being return visitors, anytime we visit our KY family, we will stay at this house if it's available!

The Jolene house was very cute and nicely decorated, and was very clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend stay and was a comfortable place to hang out and feel at ease.

Wonderful stay

This place was very clean and had a very comfortable mattress on the bed. I recently had neck/back surgery so I was worried about the bed being uncomfortable but it was very comfortable. The house was very cute- definitely will go back.

Nice place in the country with lots of amenities

We wanted to go to Cumberland Falls and just relax at a nice place in the country. This place really is perfect for that! The owners have thought of everything! Wondertful vacation!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!

We stayed at Jolene's for our 22nd anniversary and everything was just perfect! The house is such a gem - everything perfectly decorated and comfortable! Loved having all the amenities available! The deck/porch area with the fire pit table was a favorite spot for us to just sit and drink coffee. Nice area close enough to everything! Would love to stay again!!

Excellent rental

Home was super clean and the owner provided everything listed on vrbo. Loved the cabin, but had boat problems and had to depart 3 days early. Would highly recommend for just a get away or for a fisherman like me

Great little place to stay close toLaurel Lake. Has large back deck with grill to hang out after day on the lake. We have stayed at Jolene multiple times and it never disappoints. Always super clean and comfy! Large driveway to park boat/trailer. Has every amenity you will need!! 5 stars!!

Very nice!

This is a smaller older home that has been remodeled and was very nice. My husband and I were there for a couple of days so that we could do some hiking in the surrounding area. The outdoor space was very pleasant and the kitchen was easy to work in.

Great little place, close to Laurel Lake! Spotless and has any amenity you need. Nice covered back porch with grill and fire pit for evenings after the lake. Spacious drive way for boat parking. 4th stay here and hope to be back next year! JB

Amazing lake house!

Our family of 5 stayed at this comfortable home for a long weekend and it was perfect for us! Very convenient to Holly Bay Marina and the Grove. Loved the layout of the home and how cozy it was. I love a clean home and this couldn't have been cleaner! So well stocked with all the extras you could possibly think of too. We also enjoyed drinking our coffee and eating our dinner on the back porch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Laurel River Lake fishing adventure

Great place to stay 😊!! Plenty of parking for a 21’ boat and 2 vehicles.The house was super comfortable and very clean . The massive cold front made fishing extremely tough , but the scenic beauty was amazing.would highly recommend Jolene’s Place to family and friends. 😊✌️❤️

Absolute Perfection!

This little GEM is a wonderful place to stay close to Laurel Lake. It has a large area to park your boat! The house has every amenity you can think and decorated so cute! We loved the large covered porch to hang out and grill! Also the 3 hammocks in the back yard are a nice bonus!! The owner Joey is wonderful and quick to respond to any question! We have stayed at “Jolene “ 3 different occasions and hope to be back next year!!

It’s a wonderful place to stay!! It’s not huge or anything but we love the space.

Being on the back is porch is the best mainly when it’s warm. My 9 month loves it she can run her walker all over the place. We love the Dolly theme!! Very nice for the price. The hosts are amazing they go out of their way to make sure your experience is enjoyable and don’t forget to sign the book in the living room!! It’s one of our favorite things reading everyone’s else entries!
