Fridays Puerto Galera

"Fridays Puerto Galera is a beautiful private island resort, and that privacy is the main reason to stay here. The setting is peaceful, the beach is beautiful, and being separated from the mainland makes the entire stay feel much more secluded than a normal beachfront hotel. It is a great place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the surroundings without crowds or traffic. The tradeoff is convenience. Since you are on a private island, anything off the property requires a boat. You cannot simply walk into town if you need something. The staff also generally leaves around 10 PM, so you should not expect full service late at night. For me, those were reasonable tradeoffs for the privacy and atmosphere. I would simply recommend bringing what you need, planning trips off the island in advance, and understanding the type of resort you are booking. If you want nightlife and easy access to town, this may not be the best choice. If you want privacy, quiet, beautiful scenery, and a true island retreat, Fridays does that very well. I would happily stay again."

"In my opinion, best dive resort in Sanang by far. The staff is absolutely fabulous. While the rooms are basic standard rooms, there is good A/C. The restaurant, coffee shop, bar, staff and hotel amenities is where this property really shines!!"
