The Church

  • Stay in a truly historic county church. Our meticulously preserved 1902 church is one-of-a-kind: 30 ft high ceilings, original wood paneling, huge stained glass windows, a Yamaha grand piano, original organs...all immersing you in the vibrant dramatic feel of an old-world church. Perfect for a cozy family vacation, a group gathering, a music event , retreat or a small sized Wedding. The large parking area, enormous deck, and 12 acres of forest make this a comfortable and unforgettable experience. Ask us about your event for special requirements and pricing. We can accommodate up 75 guests. Additional accommodation nearby is available.

We rented this property for my sister‘s wedding and it was perfect. Some of our family stayed on the property in the bedrooms available while we used the main part of the church for the ceremony and reception. The host was available and helped throughout the whole weekend. We all had a very specific vision that we wanted for the wedding and he was flexible and allowed us to carry out that vision. He helped us figure out the sound system and was present during the wedding itself to help with any issues we might have. He and his wife were so nice to all of us and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. We had about 80 guests for the wedding plus the staff which ended up being around 90 people. We utilized every space including the outside deck. The host recommended a tent for the deck which worked out perfectly. The outside works so well for our guest who didn’t want to be inside and all of the kids were running around playing in the grass. The pictures are absolutely beautiful both inside and outside the venue. We plan this wedding from the other side of the country and we’re so grateful for all of his assistance along the way!

We had an amazing stay at this beautifully converted church. The décor and decorations made it feel truly unique, and the location offered both privacy and convenience. The owner was very helpful and attentive, and everything we could possibly need was provided.Our family of seven, plus our dog, had plenty of space with comfortable bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. While there could have been more bathrooms, it didn’t take away from the experience. The surrounding area is full of great restaurants, all within 20 minutes, and attractions like the Delaware River, Crystal Lake, Skinners Falls, Roscoe, Hancock, and Callicoon are nearby.This is not the Poconos or the Catskills—it has its own charm I’d call Appalachia, New York. A truly wonderful and memorable place that we loved, and one we would highly recommend to others.
