"The Viking is an immaculate property with the front row seat to the ocean. Ann & Mike were excellent to deal with. We didn’t understand that the laundry facilities were not in our actual accommodation but Ann was gracious to open up access to the washer/dryer on our arrival. The view is the best part - we watched whales and gannets and icebergs from the living room. You’ll want for nothing staying here. We would stay again for sure."

"The location was perfect. Close to stores, trails and icebergs! The house itself was amazing. There was much more available than was listed in the amenities. For example, I knew hairdryers would be provided but not shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. As well, body wash and make up remover. Especially nice was the 4 cozy blankets for snuggling on the deck with a glass on wine looking over the beautiful view.I would highly recommend this property."

"The house was immaculate when we arrived, filled with light, and blessed with a spectacular view. Check in went flawlessly. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedding and towels were generously supplied. It was pretty cold throughout our mid-May stay, so we were grateful to have a reliable heating system with thermostats we could change as needed. Although the cottage is right on the main road but north of the city core, we were unbothered by traffic noise. We saw three different icebergs on the horizon from the dining room window. Had it not been so cold, we would have walked 25 minutes into town for dinner and/or stared at the view while dining on the deck. The house is also close to very good hiking trails. We would recommend Wild Cove Retreat without reservations."
