The Lucerne Inn

"Traveled to the Northeast to see the fall colors and stayed here for a night before we headed to Acadia NP. The inn is located next to a golf course, which was good for a quick round of golf. Setting is quiet as was the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We also had dinner here. Hubs had the prime rib special, which is only available on the first Saturday of the month. I had the mixed seafood grill. Portions were quite generous, cooked perfectly and quite delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. David and Jayne, owners of the inn, were welcoming and always on hand."

"What a beautiful place! Amy was a terrific onsite host. This was our first trip to Maine, so she gave us some recommendations, which were spot on. We would have missed some lovely hikes if she hadn't told us about them. She also had many maps of the area which was helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and the entire place was very clean. We enjoyed canoeing in the lake and star gazing from the dock. The flower gardens and entire property are well maintained and beautiful. Amy even brought us a fresh flower bouquet, which was very thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Quiet Guest Cottage. This cozy little home was newer and better than we expected. Greg and Kelly provided every possible necessity and then some. While it sits close to their personal residence, we never once saw them in the three nights we were there. We would absolutely stay here again."

"We can't say enough good things about our stay! The property is beautiful, the cabin comfy and welcoming It is completely rural while still being convenient to many of the area's attractions. The cabin itself is well-appointed with new appliances, comfy beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. Interesting books and games available, too.We enjoyed using the fire pit one evening (after checking the fire-danger posting) and also the outdoor grill. Coming home to the cabin after a day of sightseeing was something we looked forward to. Thank you, Jacqueline, for one of the highlights of our trip."

"Want the upta camp experience but with modern convenience? This is the place. The lake is crystal clear. The house has Maine charm so you know where you are. The host is a gentleman and can be easily reached. Loved the loons and the quiet mornings. We had a family day and relaxed on the deck and made . S'mores in the fire pit. Felt right at home!"

"Loved this place! The location was great, we became fast friends with neighbors, and felt like we were at “our own place” throughout our stay! The beds are comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! We did miss our air conditioner a little bit but the fans helped out a lot. Overall it was a wonderful stay!"
