About this property
Modern Cozy Woman Lake Woodland Cabin, 24 acres, lakeshore, woodstove, AC, Wi-fi
Cozy, minimalist style cabin on 24 beautiful acres with unique peninsula frontage on Woman Lake. Enjoy all the comforts of modern amenities surrounded by nature's beauty. Snuggle up in the great room next to the warmth of the wood-burning stove, relax on the spacious deck or around a campfire, and explore the wildlife, trails, lakeshore and waters of Woman Lake. Great for families, small groups and people who like to fish. Plenty of space for your boat and endless lakes in the area to explore!
The cabin is nestled in the woods on a ridge amongst a grove of older pines, away from the lakeshore. Take a short hike down the ridge to reach the lakeshore and enjoy a private peninsula in Woman Lake's Hunters Bay. The west side of the bay is teeming with wildlife. Enjoy the resident Bald Eagle pair nesting in the neighbor's pine and a beaver lodge and loon's nest nearby. Much of the property to the west is bordered by state land, perfect for privacy, nature hikes, and hunting.
The cabin features neutral colors, pine ceiling, minimal decor, excellent use of space and abundant windows so you can enjoy plenty of natural light and always be looking into the woods. Great room with comfy leather furniture, dining table, brand new 75" Smart TV with PS4 and cozy wood stove. Thoughtfully designed galley kitchen will brand new appliances, all the essentials and a large pantry. Breakfast nook/work area with additional dining table and chairs. Main level bedroom with a queen bed and plenty of closet space. Loft with 2 queen and 1 single beds. Bathroom with shower and heater / exhaust fan. Washer and dryer too!
Other things to note: The lakeshore is beautiful, but it requires a short walk along the gravel road and then a short hike down to the lakeshore where there are metal chairs and a dock. The dock is very basic but functional and a boat can be tied to it. Aquatic plants grow up in the water in the later summer. Dock is available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We are continuing to work on the lakeshore. We are finishing some steps down the slope and hope to have a longer dock in the future. Please reach out with any questions. 20251227

The property is gorgeous. The home is clean and modern. The hosts were good communicators. Only downside was the steep hill to the water/inconvenient water access.
If anyone is looking for a peaceful "get-away", this is it! We stayed there for five nights and got to wake up in the morning to have coffee on the deck while listening to all the birds. Chris and Chelsi couldn't have been more accommodating as far as helping us with any questions prior to getting there and with our reservations. Once we got there, I was impressed with what they offered as far as amenities (I have a time share that offers far less than what they do). We spent our time out on the trail riding our side by side and always looked forward to coming home to the peace of the place. We are both retired college teachers (so know the hustle and bustle of life, but sometimes crave quiet). This is the perfect place to just relax/unwind/reconnect with nature. Plus, it's just gosh darn beautiful! And, even though we were there in the middle of June (2025), there were no bugs/deerflies/mosquitoes/etc. Perfect days!
