"Beautiful view from bayside room. Clean beach area and easy walk to shops in East Tawas. I had no problem but remember no elevator to 2nd floor room. Just a mention the stairwell to second floor C entry smell like mildew. Enjoyed the Tiki Bar."

"The motel was very nice, all that I needed. They could have got all fives but they did make a mistake on my billing that could have been very costly if I hadn't have caught it, and the breakfast was all carbs and sweets. Good coffee though."

"True five star stay!! It was nicer than the photos. They had everything we needed and more. We will be back next year for sure. Walkable to the beach and park and cute dinings spots. Only note for parents with littles- the train is very close and very loud! Bring a sound machine if you have light sleepers."

"The place was great for what we needed. We knew we wouldn’t be needing to prepare meals, basically just a place to sleep and shower. I forgot my hairdryer and none there but that was my fault. Appreciated the K-cup coffee maker and mini fridge."

Cottage was immaculately clean, Would like to have seen an easy chair, but the ease of parking next to the cottage and the quick response from owners concerning the thermostat (dead battery) rather mitigates that small complaint. The location made it very quick and easy to get to the lakes for fishing."
