Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy
The location is great, with easy access to the beach and a short walk to downtown. The property itself was clean, well-maintained. A special mention to Laura, a member of the cleaning team, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we experienced a significant security issue during our visit. An unauthorized individual was able to enter the property while we were inside. Although it appeared he intended to access the neighboring rental and entered by mistake, the fact that he was able to unlock and enter was concerning. It raised questions about whether access codes were being changed between guests or whether the properties shared the same code.We reported the issue immediately, and while property management was responsive, it took nearly two days to fully resolve. During that time, we were told that the only person with the ability to change the code was unavailable, and there was uncertainty around how the individual had obtained access in the first place. The code was eventually changed, but the original code continued to unlock the door, creating further concern. The issue was ultimately resolved when the owner personally came to the property, disabled the keypad system, and provided us with a physical set of keys. While the location and condition of the property were all excellent, the handling of this security concern was disappointing and impacted our peace of mind. Future guests may want to confirm that the access system has been updated.
