Excellent hotel. It’s brand new in an older building! We had an excellent stay. The beds are firm but not terrible. The staff were generous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
We stayed for the NCLS game and travel from the hotel to the stadium was easy and quick. The travel back was a little worse but all the traffic was bad.
Stay here it was a nice stay!
Super clean and modern room, everything was setup perfectly with everything I need. The staff was helpful with anything I needed. Love the Lavazza coffee machine and TV setup with big bed extremely comfy stay!! The hotel has a long history and I felt slightly eerie energy at night that I can’t explain - but other than that the stay was perfect.
We were pleasantly surprised to find out this is a brand-new hotel! As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and the hotel smelled amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we received some amazing gifts as some of the first guests. The location was also great, with Grand Central Market just down the street. I accidentally left behind a personal belonging, and the staff was extremely helpful and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!
Property is still having renovations. Really can see that it will be upscale when construction is completed..my room was very small as it was booked for 3 guests, we did manage our 5 days, our fridge had mold so we never stored anything in there, we had an issue with the toilet running and flushing on its own, staff was made aware and fixed the toilet immediately. There is a $60 per day parking fee & a $100 per day incidental charge to your card. Nearby is grand central market for eating and u could find just about anything you’re looking for.
Beautiful Property & Amazing Staff!
I had an amazing stay at Hotel Clark during my recent trip to LA for the Create & Cultivate conference. I actually stayed during their first week of opening, and the experience was wonderful from beginning to end.
The property is absolutely gorgeous, my room was beautiful and spacious, and I loved the full closet in my suite along with thoughtful amenities like robes and slippers. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained.
The staff really stood out. Check-in was easy, the front desk was always helpful and prompt whenever I had a question, and housekeeping did an amazing job. I really appreciated the attention to detail, even down to neatly organizing the few personal items I had left out while cleaning my room.
The pool area was beautiful as well. On my last day, I was able to sit by the pool with a mocktail and relax before leaving LA, which was the perfect way to end my stay.
I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant this trip, so that’s definitely on my list for next time. I would absolutely stay at Hotel Clark again when I’m back in LA. Beautiful property, great amenities, wonderful staff, and an overall great experience!
Hotel Clark saved me. After a vile experience at another hotel, I NEEDED to find a hotel that would give me a ridiculously early check in, IMMEDIATELY so that I could leave the dump I was swindled into booking.
Hotel Clark is in a part of LA I hadn’t intended to stay in but they could take me. I jumped in a cab and when I tell you… the way my entire body relaxed when I walked in the front door.
The smell. The carpet. instantly I knew I was going to be comfortable. God bless (I believe his name was Isiah) at the front desk who welcomed me and assured me it was no trouble to have a check in this early. I went to my room, had a glorious shower with beautiful pressure and heat and went straight to bed for a nap.
They have only been open three-ish weeks as I write this. So I feel privy to a very unique experience; I was often the only person by the pool or in the restaurant. But if the staff can maintain their enthusiasm and outstanding service as more guests come through, this hotel is going to continue to be outstanding.
The pool area is so beautiful. Reminds me so much of vibes I experienced in Morocco.
The restaurant makes one of the best egg Benny’s I’ve ever had and outstanding coffees.
I had already booked a five day stay in another part of LA and really just needed two days here. But if I could have cancelled my next reservation I would have happily stayed the week. Somehow listed as a 3 star property this is nicer than any 3 star Ive been too.
I wouldn’t stay here again. They shouldn’t open until construction is complete. I could hear them working in my room. That wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Room had a smell to it. Carpet was dirty. The AC was so loud I couldn’t sleep. The room is very small. There are a lot of tv watching options.
